How to keep nosy people out of your 3DS

This is created to keep out nosy brothers from your 3DS activity and life, remember, you have the right to keep your privacy intact!
This is just :shit:posting isn't it?

1. Open Luma (Press Select while powering on)
2. Scroll down until you see PIN Lock.
3. Set the PIN lock using A until you get to your desired PIN length.
4. Press Start.
5. Now you should see Luma asking you to set the PIN.
6. After that's done, go and re-enter your PIN.
7. Profit.

To remove them if you forgot, please refer to @CPG 's guide in this sub-forum.

I wish someone would touch my 3DS and come to my bedroom. My kids will only get the legit stuff.

You need one of a list of flashcarts to use that, not everyone can obtain an eligible cart. Also that's brick protection, it won't matter if they're just gonna sell it for parts anyway.

Reply I made earlier to the exact same question:

You can buy an ntrboot compatible card for like $4

Ntrboot bypasses booting from ctrnand, it boots a firm payload flashed directly on to the cartridge, you can completely remove the internal nand, and technically still boot a 3ds, using an emunand

Leftover feature from manufacturing and probably used to service and check your console for warranty, also could be used to detect cfw/remnants

Isn't it enough with this topic? I think everything that can be said has been said. Luma3DS pin is an easy topic and we're on page three already.

Having this thread going EOF-style isn't needed.
