Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

Hi. I use R4SDHC card, how do I close games? I can't exit to menu, and if I press home button to run the flashcart again, it boots up the last played game, not Twilight++ menu.

Upd. Nevermind, I found the answer. Just accidentally turned on last rom on boot option.

Is there any fix for Golden Sun Dark Dawn and Okamiden in SD?
I've tried them but I couldn't boot Golden Sun and Okamiden still has problems with the sylus input.

Hey guys, I have a pretty annoying problem. TWiLight Menu++ crashes very often, it's really frustrating when setting up some AR cheats ! :hateit:

It doesn't happen in games, only in the menu itself...

Any ideas of what is happening ?

Try disabling "Photo & box art color de-band" in settings

Ah thanks, now it works perfectly well !

By the way, is there a way to remove the widescreen feature ? I've tried it but it stretchs the pixels, giving a very bad quality....

I believe you can either delete the "TwlBg.cxi" file, I think it's at "sdmc:/luma/sysmodules/TwlBg.cxi" but I haven't used widescreen much myself so I'm not 100% sure, or simply turn of loading external FIRMs and modules from Luma settings (boot holding start)

Probably been asked before, but how "good" are the emulators? Like, I've got NES and SNES r*ms + romhacks that I want to try out. Will they work with TW++?

Hi! I updated manually, and the system crashes as soon as the roms pop up. Did tried the @Lia fix, but it didn't worked.

Thank you for this information, I was worried it would be more messy to get things back to original aspect ratio.

I can confirm this works, but seeing that it took a few steps to create this file what I did was use the Homebrew 3DShell Application and renamed it with the suffix .ORIGINAL.

This way I still remember what the original filename is and I can rename it back to normal if I want to have widescreen available.

Yes, i can confirm. It still crashes even after you have replaced the file she shared. It also made the TWL boot menu instead of Hiya CFW which is what I set up.

Why Dragon Quest VI and IX don't work? The first one gives me black screen, and the second one white screen.
Do i have to check the settings for something in particular?

I'm on the latest build of Luma, and have them boot on SD

EDIT: nvm i found the solution, in twlpatch, Y + B then select the GPU option, and it should patch it correctly (using N3DS XL)

Hello, i have tried setting up widescreen, it only worked once, after that, i only get squished TWL++ upper screen, and games don't start wide (supported games) at all, any help would be apreciated, thank you.

I had first the failed to backup error, but now that i fixed it, i still get the squished screen.

Hey @Robz8 - I noticed that the A5200DS doesn't launch right... looks all klobbered up. If I launch the same .NDS with TWL++ directly it seems to load fine. I looked at the command line argument passing and it's done the same way as A7800DS and StellaDS so I'm unsure why it doesn't run right...

If the game still launches, then you've indeed missed something.

This will not come as a surprise to you but it was my fault

Didn't initialize the core emulation before trying to launch the game on my side when a command line argument was passed in.

Fixing now... stay tuned

I have 1 cfw new 3ds and 1 Non cfw 3ds. I am thinking of making the second one CFW as well.

Main reason I want to do it cagelocke nuzlocks with my freind.

Can DS pokemon games link battle ( Primarily Drayano's hacks - Stormsilver, Renegade, Blaze Black 1/2 )

Yes. Not sure if it works with hacks, but I don't see why it wouldn't.
