Apparently you have to hold the L button right after you start the game. Just tried it and didn't freeze when I talked to the vendors. Hopefully I can fully play DQ4 with no other issues

true but i used the twilight updater to download the covers & still nothing changed

your twilight updater app downloads .bmp covers hence why no covers are showing up !! i will try converting them

Tested EU Version (TID:ASPP) and US Version (TID:ASPE) on TWiLight v8.5.1 with bootstrap v0.21.2.
Both works fine.
You didn't update the updater. The latest version downloads .png covers.
It's fixed in v8.5.1.

Question what would happen if I have the same game but for different regions? IE Kirby super star ultra USA and Eur?
I think there may be a an issue with the sorting method "Recent" as setting it causes the menu to crash upon trying to lose it, I've only tested this with the DSi theme, and would not like to test it further as the only way to fix it to my knowledge is to delete the settings files from my SD card and run the updater
I assume it has to be the nds-bootstrap that has to be updated, or do I have to manually patch it myself? I don't mind doing the second, of course.

So Kh recoded and DQ ix prepatched have no cheats any way to put cheats on them? I tried downloading a clean ROM for kh and had cheats
Ahh, okay. Understood. How does the patches for nds-bootstrap work? (sorry for the dumb questions)
nds-bootstrap searches for the functions inside the ROMs, and then patches them to do something different.
Hello, I have a problem running Hotel Dusk Room 215 rom in french. I tried many european (multi5 with french) roms, launched them on desmume on my computer and the game launched in french but no matter how much I tried it on TWilight Menu++, the game always launch in english.
Of course, I used "default" then "french" in custom game config with Y but still no luck.
One last thing, I have other games like Ghost Trick which are multi 5 and french is ok when I launch...
Is there any specific trick for Hotel Dusk Room 215 ?
