2. After playing botw, I closed the game and booted psnes, then my switch crashed and told me to shut it off.

Is this docked or handheld?
When I am docked, hbmenu crashes on me and I get the restart error. Might have something to do with that? There is an updated hbmenu in this zip file that you can try to use with SX OS. Perhaps that might fix your error? Post about this updated hbmenu: here Let me know how it works if you try it.

Mine crashes too when docked. I'm on latest hekake and 5.1.0
Mine will crash if I start psnes and select a rom whole docked OR if I start a rom in handheld then put it in docked mode it will crash instantly.

In SX OS, if start psnes in handheld and then dock it, I can select a rom and play without it crashing. I mainly get crashes when i try to launch hbmenu while docked.

2 times this happened to me. 1st was played on handheld then left on dock to charge, then i took it out, then i closed the game. Then the crash happened. (On psnes)
2cd time that happened, i wasent playing anything, I left it on the dock to charge, then took it out then went into psnes, then crash.

Also what version of hbmenu is this? All i saw on the github was 2.0 and that didnt change.

On SX OS 1.2. PSnes 1.3.. No issues that I've noticed. Aside from filters causing funky graphical artifacts until full screen refresh.

HomebrewMenu launches fine while docked for me. Same with PSnes.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I got 2 issues with sx os 1.2.

1. It saves normally with kirby dream course but it doesnt save with mario rpg.
2. After playing botw, I closed the game and booted psnes, then my switch crashed and told me to shut it off.

Saving works for me.

Can confirm there's an error, though. Played about 30 seconds of BOTW, quit the game. Opened HBL, PSnes and tried to launch SMRPG. 2345-0021. SX OS 1.2

Gonna try Hekate (CTCaer's fork) 2.3.

No error on Hekate. Seems to be SX OS. Which has had plenty of issues with Homebrew for some odd reason or another.

Does this pass the 240p Test Suite Scroll Test for judder? I'm curious about all four output modes (handheld, docked 480p, docked 720p, and docked 1080p)

Motion should be smooth with absolutely no judder.

Hi, just uploaded a new release on github (pSNES 1.4) with a lot of changes/fixes :

  • fix SuperFX (star fox working fine now)
  • fix cheats loading (put "rom_name.cht" with game genie codes in cheat folder, see readme for format)
  • add cheat option to options menu (ON/OFF)
  • improve audio thread, faster and smoother gameplay
  • disable jerky auto frameskip, smoother gameplay
  • update to latest snes9x codebase (1.56.2)
  • add 4 players support
  • only show zip, sfc and smc files in no-db mode
  • add titles images support in the "titles" folder (used by default, press L/R to show previews image)
  • add possibility to display icons (32x32 png in the "icons" folder). Can be enabled or disable from pSNES options menu (slow loading time if lot of icons on switch)
  • show progress box on rom loading
  • update font
  • switch: add L/R STICKS ui button icons
  • switch: fix crash after multiple roms loading (~9 loaded roms)

So ungrateful, self-centered, and entitled. No one cares about your life story. You didn't pay for this. Cpasjuste has been kind enough to use valuable free time and do this for the community. How about you develop all that you're clucking about and release it.

Darn. I'll look into partitioning.
Your life gotta be really sad if your fucking comments are always about picking someone else or about being the social justice warrior of the situation. That guy just made a legit question, jeez, we have a lawyer here.

Maybe I just missed it, but, how do I configure a second gamepad? (i.e. the second joycon)

Other than that, the new build works fine for me, no problems with the roms I tested!

EDIT: Nevermind, my fault it just works by default! I thought I had to configure every single controller!

Your "life" must really be worthless, miserable, AND pathetic seeing as how you dug through this thread to find that, probably made this your first post in it, and always use vulgarities in your attempt to communicate whatever sludge you're cackling about.....all while doing the same thing you're dribbling of. It's things like you, that egg on the nonsense, and that entitled one that cause some devs to stop developing for the community. Learn to communicate your like/dislikes/suggestions without being nasty to the ones doing this stuff for FREE. That or do it for yourself. Putting you on ignore like all the others in that thing you call an existence has.
yeah you are wrong lol

Found a weird bug. I was playing just fine in handheld mode, put the switch in sleep mode (didn't exit from the game) for something like 5/10 minutes. When i unlocked the switch, the audio was really slow, the video was slow too but not as much as the audio. Closed the emulator and reopemed and BAM. The whole switch crashed and had to restart it

Yes there is some problems with sleep mode, not sure I'll be able to fix that soon.
