Nice, ive been meaning to play this, but I dont understand Japanese, so this is really good.
tbh, it's one of those games you could manage to get through the menus and play after a bit of guessing and enjoy even if you can't read it, it's menu's are that self explanatory

I haven't updated freeshop in ages. I've typed in the correct url in the update settings but...I don't know man.

Anyone else getting an error when trying to host a local lobby?

I'm on 1.1, and wanted to try to see if download play was working,

Edit: Looks like I rebuilt the game wrong, I tried using the luma patch with the raw game, and now it works fine.
I can even download play to a non-hacked usa 3ds!

I can only imagine region is the problem, though on the latest puma CFW I think download play regions are unlocked (not sure, a Google search may be necessary) so make sure both of your systems have the latest luma installed and try again.

I've tried it on a region changed emunand too :'(
This pops up the second I start a lobby, so I don't think the target system is the issue, it never gets that far.

So after messing around for forever I finally managed to get the DLC into a CIA with CDN-FX, but now when I try to decrypt it with godmode9 the "CIA image options..." option just isn't there at all. It works fine for any other CIA, just not this one. I tried decrypt9, but it seems like it's just broken on the latest luma, I can't get it to do anything. Anyone know any other way to decrypt a cia (i have my boot9.bin) or just how to get godmode9 to see it as a CIA?

It's ridiculous how hard this has been.

  • Editing the CIA banner. If anyone has any experience with blender or other programs used to edit .obj files, let me know.
I can edit it in C4D if you need me to. Just supply me with everything I would need such as graphics and I can make it all happen. Also, I know a guy who is fluent in both English and Japanese, so I can talk to him about the adventure mode translation!

I'm able to work with the banner in Blender.

Just let me know what's needed and I'll be able to get the banner made/fixed up.

I know someone mentioned the idea of putting the english voice clips into the english patch here but the issue of actually getting said voice clips from the ps4/switch release would be troublesome. Since the pc port is coming out shouldn't it be quiet a bit easier?

I did some testing when it was mentioned, its quite straight forward to get from the Switch release but whenever I built the BCSTM file it would crash the game on the 3DS, worked fine in Citra.

Heh, looks like I never posted about trying? ><

Man, it would be awesome to have this game fully translated including the missing graphics. But i don't see it happen anymore.

But hey, thanks for the good work anyway. At least we can play the game perfectly fine the way it is.

Thank you for your great work!

I have a question regarding how the DLC patch works. Tried on a US 3DS and Luma V9 as well as an EU 3DS, with none-translated DLC (tried acquiring them through freeshop and a .cia from that iso site) I have noticed that while the extra chapters and BGMs work, the extra voices and skins don't appear. (Can some one confirm if this happens on their end and if they have tried on Japanese 3DS?)

Meanwhile when I used a translated DLC (I did acquire an already patched .cia) the skins and voices worked fine!
So does anyone have an idea why this happens, and what part of the patch affects this? And eventually if there's a way to use it to make the original DLC work with the skins and new voices without translating them?

I have a couple of observations as well:
  • With a none-translated DLC, BGMs shows an extremely high number, 132; new BGMs work till 44, after that selecting a higher number won't change the last working selected BGM.
  • With the translated DLC , all the new characters seem to be unlocked along with their alt voices. I dunno if the DLC is supposed to unlock the new characters or they'll have to be unlocked through the Adventure mode.
