Is there a powersave for the Wii U. or some other kind of cheat device

I do not like Modding my systems. and I do not like messing with CCW's because I have had to send my Wii U 3 times into Nintendo now. Once when I first got it because it briked, a few years ago when the HDD started going out, and Last month when the Gamepad went out.

So I do not want to mess with CCW in less I must and even then I only want to if I can keep Nintendo from finding out.

I mostly want to cheat on

Starfox
Zelda WW HD
Zelda TP HD
Zelda BOTW
Yoshi WW

They are really the only games I play on my Wii U any more

Saves are contained on the Wii U or on an encrypted drive and the encrypted drives can not (yet) be accessed from a PC, although it's theoretically possible.
So you will need some way to extract the saves, which involves homebrew.
However, you don't need to modify the system in any way if you use the browser exploit.

What is the browser exploit I do not know how to do any of that stuff. All I have ever used is Action Replays and Powersaves in the past for my systems.

You just need HBL v1.4 on your SD card: https://github.com/dimok789/homebrew_launcher/releases
Along with the homebrew you want to run (in this case that would probably be Saviine: https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-saviine-wiiu-savedata-tool.399833/)
Then go to http://loadiine.ovh on your Wii U and tap the button there to launch HBL.
After that you just follow the instructions in the Saviine thread.
Once you have the save extracted you can edit it with a save editor.
Save editors don't exist for all (or even most) games though, you'll have to have a look around to see if save editors exist for the games you want to cheat in.

Thank you. It might be a problem for me. My SD Card slot always says the SD Card is locked even when its not.

None of these issues you reported have anything to do with modding or custom firmware (CFW).

I don't know what you're talking about when you say "CCW"

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol

I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So that version is semi rare
