same result in the hard lock / freeze. Ok I just did the full tutorial on my buddies new wii and everything went fine. I did a NAND backup of his and also used YetAnotherBlueDumpMod to get all his IOS's. Is is possible to flash my vwii with his NAND backup... (I know its probably a dumb question but gotta ask)
There is no way to flash any nand by the end user at this moment in time unfortunately. We still dump and retain them for the future however. Plus, you would NEVER want to flash a nand dump from another machine to yours 
So now that you have all the IOS you need I would advise you just install every one of them from YAWMM via USB. But the problem is, you don't have a vulnerable IOS as far as we know, so you've got to use a cIOS installer (make sure you use the version from this post https://gbatemp.net/threads/simple-guide-to-install-cios-on-vwii-backup-nand-and-keys.339890/ ) to get one.
But if all those fail... you're pretty much stuck. Without a vulnerable IOS you are screwed. You can try using IOS 36 to install the wads but I highly doubt that will work.

The cIOS installer mentions the recomended IOS to use is 236. I fails when I try to use IOS36 and freezes when I use 250
Then there's nothing you can do to fix the brick. With no vulnerable IOS and no HBC, you have no way of reinstalling the proper IOS on your system.
Understandable. I guess I will hold off until there is a viable WiiU homebrew that has access to vWii NAND
I also tried a system update but it failed with the 3006 error like most bricked vWii experience. I was not wanting to update it since its 5.4.0
No, my friend did not back it up BUT I did softmod his new Wii he bought to replace this one and I did a full nand dump.
Ok just wanted to update you guys on this issue I have. I took some time off working on it to keep reading and start doing more research. I went back and ran syscheck on every single IOS (besides IOS250) one by one (yea it took a while LOL) and I found out that the only other IOS besides 250 that was modified was IOS58. I started doing research on IOS58 and after careful planning I decided to delete it. Once I deleted it, I rebooted and tried the hackmii installer again which froze on scam screen again . I was about to give up until I took a look at my SD card to see that it actually made progress in the installer and made a LOG file. So this is what it does.

LOL I dunno, A friend owned this WiiU before me and bricked it. Its been in his closet for a while now since he bought his kids a new one.
Well, i remember now, i helped you in the beginning of this thread and u were not able to mount the SD card on syscheck, now that you finally got it, i got your answer.
the IOS installed on this vwii, are IOS, so, your friend tried to hack using a method for wii and not for a Wii U.
if theres a way to fix this, you sadly need a dump of ALL your vIOS NON-Fake Signed. [i think you can use a any vwii ios, but they MUST NOT BE FAKESIGNED] and then you need to install them using YAWMM. Thats your solution C:
If it helps I softmodded his new wiiu with hackmii_1.2 and dumped his entire nand (NON-FAKESIGNED) so I have access to all of the vWii ISOS. The only issue is that none of these have NAND access
It does not matter, if you got the wads of the dump, and they are not fakesigned, you can use his, if they are from the same region, and install them, once installed, then u can follow any REAL vWii hacking guide C:
