You should stay on WIndows 10 if possible. If you upgraded already from Windows 7 to Windows 10, then you are free to do a fresh install of Windows 10 to that computer in the future, and it will be activated.
  • With regard to Problem #1, I'm sure there's an easy fix. It's definitely not an issue inherent to Windows 10 that I'm aware of. Keep doing research on the topic.
  • With regard to Problem #2, have you attempted to clear Firefox's cache and restore the default settings? Have attempted to reinstall the program? Are you using the latest version of Firefox? Have you tried Google Chrome? Again, this doesn't appear to be a problem inherent to Windows 10 that I'm aware of.
my friend had the same problem but with chrome brand new i5 laptop and chrome did not work at all on it

If the problems are odd? Not occurring all the time and different problems occur?
if yes... you might try spin rite . Since the hard drive started getting over 400gb they are never formatted...(yes it would take days to complete)
You may have a simple drive alignment problem, lower cost drives are likely to have a higher rate of problems with this.
Spinrite will rewrite the data so that bad sectors will be identified to the drive itself and moved.
And it can take many hours for one drive...

Steve Gibson - has very good information on his site. He sells spinrite, but all of his other tools are free!
It is worth taking a look. GRC.com
