Because I haven't needed to do this in forever, is rxtools able to format emunand like how the Gateway Launcher does, or does rxtools just inject a previous backup for emunand?

Usually when people want to format emunand, they just use GW's launcher.

I am trying to install the rxtools 10-02-2015 build on a 9.2 o3ds but it gets stuck at installation data suite, only two squares from the please stand by screen lit up. Anyone have any idea why?

I use the auto boot themehax (hold any button when powering on and themehax won't trigger) with ctrbootmanager that defaults to rxtools after 3 sec. Boots every time on O3DS.
Nice! This is the best setup indeed (for the O3DS at least). Just set the timeout to 0 and you get a fully functional autoboot to rxtools.

Install python 2.7 then run the .py script in the "tools" folder to generate firmware.bin and then place it in your /rxTools/sys folder delete the /rxTools/data folder then try again

I use the auto boot themehax (hold any button when powering on and themehax won't trigger) with ctrbootmanager that defaults to rxtools after 3 sec. Boots every time on O3DS.
I was able to use BrowserHax to load the ThemeHax installer and I can now boot rxTools from a cold boot. It took a while to get BrowserHax to load the HomeBrew Loader. Using an O3DS on 9.2 sysNand, 10.1.0 emuNand.
The boot rate isn't 100%. MSET wasn't 100% for me either.

Never used the MSET method to boot rxTools, but the URL worked 100% of the time.

I converted to a cold boot setup a few days ago, (O3DS; sys9.2, emu10.1 rxTools09-28-15)
It automatically boots CtrBootManager, which gives me five seconds to choose rxTools (default) or Homebrew Menu.
Out of the 11-15 times its been cold booted only once has it failed to even get to CtrBootManager. (This was after the battery almost died [blinking red light]. I plugged the system in, turned it off, and left it until fully charged, the following boot failed.)

I couldn't get BrowserHax to load the Homebrew Menu, spent over an hour trying, but using a .cia themehax installer posted by Dean_ solved my issue.

I posted the fun I had in another thread, here is the link if anyone in interested.

Does the latest nightlies' rxtools.3dsx has any difference to previous ones? I feel like so much of those have been posted in trying to get the most successful coldboot rate.
