Just swinging to by to report a problem with Pokemon Colosseum.

The game has trouble with the Wii U Pro Controller...when press down all the way with the Joystick, the character spazzes out and goes up instead.

Doesn't seem something that happens with any other control scheme or any other game...could be my Wii U pro controller that's busted, and I've only noticed this on this game.

Tested the Gamecube controllers + Gamecube Wii Adapter & Wii Classic controller and they seem to work just fine.

Also, thank you Fix94 for adding the Hunter the Reckoning exception to the official releases...I'm forever thankful! Keep on thriving! :D

About your controller. Did you try, in game, to turn it off, then turn it on while joysticks being on neutral position?

I've never gotten the cheats to work either. Since I own original discs of all my GameCube games, I play them with cheats using a patched MIOS and Gecko OS mod. I'm eager to hear if/how it works for you with Nintendont.
Well, I updated my nintendont, and no luck at all... I really dont understand why cheats won't work.
The only difference I noticed is that if I turn "cheat path" on, the game will boot, but again, no cheats on, instead of getting an error message... Let´s wait some more options to try...

Edit:

I tried every option... and nothing...

Yeah, I can confirm that the problem persists in Pokemon Colosseum...tried again just now with the Wii U Pro controller...other controller schemes like the Classic Controller & Gamecube Controller + Wii U Gamecube adapter work just fine, except this one.

Pressing down on the Joystick all the way down causes the character to go up instead....every other direction works as intended when pressing their directions all the way down. If I don't press down all the way down, but tilt slightly past the walking animation it works as intended...it's when you press down completely that inverts the controller's input with going up instead of down....must be a bug. Tried other games and this doesn't happen, so I'm glad my controller isn't busted.

Also, I just booted Phantasy Star Online Episode 3 and it doesn't boot despite the compatibility list reporting it works just fine...tried both 1:1 & trimmed, even tried downloading an ISO dump only and using my own rip from my original retail disc and nothing...just black screen.

Try with the nintendont version in the compatibilty list and see if it works.
About your controller. Maybe is it related to deadzones of Pro Controllers? Then Pokemon is the only game freaking out with this lol. I would like to help you but I don't know why this happens.

I have yet to try XD: Gale of Darkness with the Wii U Pro Controller to see if it has the same problem with the downward joystick motion's deadzone.

lol! I'm so afraid now of going to earlier versions....there's a build that breaks HDDs and straight up corrupts them, didn't realize the fact until I corrupted my drive twice....good thing I backup my games on another drive in case this happens. :P

I'll try and comeback later on both accounts.

The controller issue with the Wii U Pro has been around for a while. It does happen on Pokémon XD too. I haven't used Nintendont in a while so I don't know if it ever got fixed but the issue was there the last time I played around r250's or so. Just don't go all the way when using the analog stick.

Can I play exFAT format or ONLY FAT32?

Nintendont can only be used with FAT32. No NTFS, no exFAT, no HFS, etc. Only FAT32.

EDIT: The best part about FAT32 is that it is Multi-OS compatible.

NTFS is Windows only and Mac OS X can only read NTFS (it can't write to it without a 3rd party app). Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X can read and write to FAT32 without the need for any extra apps. So FAT32 is the best choice for Nintendont especially since GameCube ISOs are no bigger than 1.36GB (1.45GB on Mac OS X) so splitting is needed.

I keep all my GameCube and Wii ISOs on a single FAT32 partition and simply split Wii ISO's that are too big which can even be done on Mac OS X and is not Windows only.

Alright I'm back with some updates! Yes, the Wii U pro controller has the issue on both Pokemon Colosseum & XD: Gale of Darkness when reaching the bottom deadzone of the joystick, it inverts to pressing up when pressing it all the way down. Tried it with the latest build and tried it with the old v2.301 build...

Also, just redumped my retail copy of Phantasy Star Online Episode III and it works now! Even on the latest Nintendon't...the one I got online and my previous dump must have been both bad dumps....lol! What are the chances?! Anyways, that problem is now clear! :D

That's why you should check the MD5 hash with redump.org to verify it.

this issue is long known to happen with all controller types randomly in the game, the pokemon games seem to just have that bug.

Oh it's a constant issue with Pokemon Colosseum & XD Gale of Darkness with the Wii U pro controller not random...Wii Classic controller & GC Controller + Wii U GC adapter work just fine. :P

you then mean a different one, because it has another one where from time to time it likes to register 50% pressing down is up and reversed too.

Mine is when you press down 100% down and automatically turns the down to up every time....but that's where the problem ends with the Wii U pro controller. I haven't detected any further issues every time I've tested it....and the other aforementioned control schemes seem to work perfectly with no issues whatsoever.
