I have loaded the gamecube bios onto the root of my usb drive. When I load the games using Nintendont, everything works fine. When I load games through the latest release of USB Loader GX, I get a black screen, but audio. Any suggestions?

so I have a massive update for today which does all kinds of things, took me a few days to get everything done:
-slightly updated ARStartDMA code, fixed a small mistake in it and made it easier to debug
-fixed up progressive video mode flag and added a exception to skip it on BMX XXX so the game doesnt freeze when using a component/hdmi cable
-added a new img patching method which gets NBA 2k2, NBA 2k3, NCAA College Football 2K3 as well as NCAA College Basketball 2K3 fully working
-added ARStartDMA exceptions for NBA 2k2, Army Men Sarges War, ESPN MLS Extra Time 2002, Monster 4x4: Masters Of Metal and SD Gundam Gashapon Wars to fix various issues with these games
-skipping the GC BIOS if one of the 4 working triforce games gets detected
-slightly increased our kernel memory
Is there still a problem when using bios and mcemu off?

Hey I recently downloaded Nintendont on my USB stick along with the Homebrew Channel. I also downloaded two games (Super Smash Bros. Melee and Digimon Rumble Arena 2).

For some reason, even though Nintendont seems to load itself fine, and load these games fine, they have a tendency to crash at completely random times. The message I get is always "An Error has occurred. Please turn off your Gamecube and refer to the manual for further instructions." Why does this keep happening? I have memory card emulation on, set to 123 blocks (I had it set to 251 blocks but thought lowering it might help the freezing. Not sure if it did, but it still does freeze randomly, usually within 15 minutes of the game being turned on).

losts of ppl played that game even fully and no one ever said it had any speed up so i doubt it has any its probably your preception compared to the ps1 xD

There is a speed issue with this game (metal gear solid twin snakes), it came up a few months back and I confirmed it. Its only very slight I had to go back and forth between original and nintendont but there was defo a small speed issue unless its been fixed in the last few months

are you forcing widescreen?nintendont version?

Hey quick question, I have Pikmin downloaded to my USB and it goes to the Title Screen but anytime I press Start it goes to a black screen.

I've tried downloaded multiple iso's and converting them but nothing seems to work. Any help would be appreciated.
are you shrininking the iso? and what nintendont version are you using?theres no such thing as converting an iso... what are you doing lol.

since i never saw anyone complain i never played it for myself and alot of ppl passed the entire game and said nothing it could be a region speed up only? what version pal or ntsc? some pal games like resident evil4 and killer 7 do have speed ups if you select 50Hz for instance.

I haven't forced widescreen. I think the only thing that is turned on is memory card emulation. I'm also using full, single ISO (not compressed) files.

Nintendont version is 2.277 I think. It should be the most recent since I updated it while I was on.

Be sure to set video mode to Auto.
Or force video mode to the game's region :
if you play a NTSC game, force NTSC480i, don't enable Progressive patch
if it works, you can try with progressive patch enabled, or with NTSC480p so see if one if these settings are an issue.

Fix94, will there be a setting to enable/disable ipl?
For example if users want to auto-boot to the game or if it's not stable yet. it's just to know if I'll add a nintendont setting in USBLoaderGX, or if it needs to mess with ipl file copy/delete from root (I don't like that idea).
if it's stable and working with all games then it's not needed.

it's also an arcade game
The Arcade version is a Naomi, you need a Dreamcast emulator for that.

The new update is amazing, only game that gives me black screen now when the bios are set is Peach Castle, I use an earlier version of Nintendont (2.265) for it, however I have noticed that selecting a game with the loader it takes a while to boot but with USBLGX it boots right away, does this happen to anyone else?

No it isn't. Virtua Striker 2002 is a NAOMI 2/ Triforce game. Anyways I just tried it on Nintendont and it resulted in the system turning off.
