4.75v @ 1.6A Output

So if you were to run it from USB it would draw too much power. You could almost do it since the GP only needs 4.75v and USB is 5v..... hmmmmm let's see a mod get this going.

1.6A??? Crap thats high.. Would need 2 X USB3 ports to get that much amps... But i'm guessing thats so it can charge AND play.. I bet if the pad were OFF and charging... it would take way less..

A PSP 1000 charger is 5V at 2Amps...

Still 4 hours to go until I can -hopefully- pick one up. We'll see if I can score one without a preorder, but I don't really care if I don't manage to get one. Just booked a vacation to Japan for 3 weeks so getting a WiiU on top of that is just the cherry on top. =D

For those just picking up their new WiiUs, the initial update will take you over an hour in most cases, so be prepared to wait a bit.

Got mine yesterday mail order, had to do the update but all was good!
It's a really nice and Nintendoland has got some excellent sections in it for single players, thought I was going to be stuck waiting until the weekend to play!

Damn. There was a delivery issue at my local shop. There weren't enough to make the order.

Well...I could have placed the order sooner, but meh. Besides: I'm in no hurry. Rayman legends isn't out yet and I'm in no deadline for December 6th (St Nicolas).

(I admit it: I could've preordered sooner).

On the good side: it's likely going to be tomorrow that it'll be here.
