What is your USBLoaderGX version?
You have an old one.
I tried the same settings as yours but it still didn't work.
I'm now trying on a WBFS partition.
result: same, it's still not booting.

I think the % shown on the first post is not really reflecting what's done in the translation patch.
The completed task list (8/12) are misleading too, users may think the game patch is almost 100% completed in english and only item, zuburo and "other" are missing. (I did think it was when you showed all this tasks to 100%).
But a lot of menus which you give 100% are not translated.
For example for the Quest office you say "Quest Office Menu\Talk: 100%", there are only "welcome" and "good bye" message window translated, all her "talk" is not. The quest 1 description is mixed English and Japanese, and mission 2 description has no English at all.
Same for other shop's "talk", only very few talk are translated, the first message window is but they are talking a lot more in Japanese.
At least say "all menu" but not "menu\talk" as the talks are not 100%, only the menus are.
It's not a rant against your job not done fully, just that saying 100% while it's not true may be bad for users.
What does 100% mean? 100% of what you are planning to translate, or 100% of the file content ? it's not really 100% of the element/menu/talk/area.
either remove "talk" or explain what "talk 100%" really means, or add all the things to translate (like Quest description : 1%, Area name:0%, Rosa garden menu:0% Rosa talk:0%; Battle menu:0%, Attack & skill name:0%, etc.) as currently we think (I though) that the english patch is completed at 80% because you are listing very few tasks list

I didn't want to an ass, but yeah this is pretty spot on. I checked the ffx files and I guess 25% of all the messages in those files are translated, if even that much. The pac file has more important stuff from the game and there is not too much translated there either.
First post lists: Quest Office Menu\Talk: 100% (Completed)
The girl has 15 different talks, of which 3 are translated, thats 20% ...
Another point are the translations, I didnt check everything, but there are already quite a few that have lots of grammatical errors or typos. Also some of them are either way too literal or just dont flow at all so that I need a translator for the translated stuff because what has been translated, tells me nothing and is just a cryptic mess.
Nothing against you doom, its just not the quality I expected when you were throwing around those 100% all the time ...
And I'm afraid, that we won't see it by Doombringer
Just don't give up, if I could help anyhow, I would do it. But I've no clue about Japanese and codeing in detail, so that I could help to find the error causing a blackscreen at the loaders.

Wir könnten zusammenarbeiten, kein Problem.
Ich hatte vor die bisher auf englisch gepatchten Dateien ins Deutsche zu übersetzen, zum teil kann ich es auch mit den Japanischen.
Jedoch fehlt mir zum übersetzen dieses Programm, was mir ziemlich praktisch dafür erscheint.
