Several days ago I oredered acekard 2i, 3ds compatible and stuff and bought transcend 4gb microsdhc card.
So I unpacked both acekard and microsd card, plugged my card into the cardreader, uploaded latest AKAIO and some roms to test it, then plugged card into flash card and plugged flashcard into 3ds. Everything booted okay, I launched some games and every single game froze after some time. Contra 4 got frozen right away after showing game logo, Cooking mama froze just after game logo. The only game that had bo problems was New super mario bros.
I thought; "ok, maybe the problem was with card formatting". I reformatted it with panasonic utility, redownloaded the same roms from another places and tried one more time. And guess what happened? The problem was just the same as before! I thought: maybe the acekard is fake or something, but according to official site - it's not. And now for the most strangest part. I plugged my sdhc into card reader to find out it became unreadable. I could not format it, delete anything from it and so on.
So ok, maybe the microsd card was bad or malfunctioning. I tried the same thing with another micro sd card by kingston(I mean uploading AKAIO and plugging into acekard) and it became broken too. Have anyone had the same problem? Sure, I can get another one micro sd, but I couldnt decide what keeps breaking them? My 3ds or acekard?
The AK contact issue is far more common than dead microSDs. Your issue is probably the former.Fogmaster said:i'll try it tomorrow, but what's about dead micro sds? Had this problem bumped up somewhere?
Nope but ZhuZhuChina may replace it for you.elm said:Okay I read through 27 pages on this topic: I updated my Acekard 2i (HW:4444) and I "Bricked" my card. Is there anyway to fix this????

This update support 3DS2.0 and DSi1.4.2. Please refer to readme file in the package. AK2i of HWID44 can be updated this time too. But AK2i of HWID44 can't be recognized after using power button to reset console. You need power off console and turn it on again.
I just wanted to say that even as someone who had already been using 1.8.6a, this got me going again.doyama said:Are you running AKAIO 1.8.1? Looks like it from the video.
Take a backup of your ROMS and homebrew
Take your sd card and reformat it with the Panasonic SD fomatter
Then load AKAIO 1.8.6a onto the SD card
