Hacking R4i (from r4ultra.com) not working with 1.4u

the message"LOADING..." on the DSi's top screen, is shows that loading Kenerl softare failed. you should confirm there're the belowing files on TF card's root-directory:
moonmemo ---Sub-directory
moonshl2 ---Sub-directory
R4iMenu ---Sub-directory
R4 ---DAT file

Thanks for your message. Alright so clearly I am dumb when it comes to this stuff.

Do I have to

a) Setup the card like an R4I with the files you indicated, (From http://www.r4ultra.com/guide.htm) then run the firmware update file?

or

b) Setup the card like an Acecard with files from ak2i_setup.zip then run the firmware update?

Also in relation to the above, where would I put the r4ifw_update_14_DSi.nds file so it updates it? Also where do the games go?

Also the official firmware only includes the following:

_system_ (folder)
moonshl (folder)
_ds_menu.dat
_ds_menu.ini
_ds_mshl.nds

So I ended up applying the above to the microsd card, plus added the folders from your post. The DSLITE booted up. I had three options - Multimedia, games, and boot from slot 2. The only way I seemed to be able to run r4ifw_update_14_DSi.nds was from multimedia. Once run, I put it in the DSI however still got "an error has occurred".

What am I missing?

Alright I figured it out. I clicked one of the buttons (A) and then highlighted the file and clicked A again. It updated it.

Now when I run it, it shows it as R4 revolution for DS. I imagine it is supposed to say this rather than R4I.

Games location: Can I make any folder (E.g. games) and just put them in?

Will this be the standard interface? Or is there a better one?

you need this, to update your Flashkart.

You need Kernel 1.54 and a DSi with FW 1.3 or a DSL^^

By the way, the acekard2i 1.4 update works with R4i Ultra.

thanks im glad i found this site i had about 10 angry women because i didnt see these cards didnt wok on the new dsi's or the updated ones .They really need to put that in big letters on there site or if they do then i need to read better. Anyway thanks a ton
