Ah, I wondered how to get back to that menu, thanks!
About touchpod, is there a way to scroll the game list faster? It takes about 2 minutes for me to reach the bottom (where LMP is).
You can use "R" button to scroll pages, not each file.
By the way, there's another way to start any Homebrew you like, using another homebrew

The solution is HERE

My bad, guess I should have read a little closer too

Has anyone tried the non-working programs with the DSO trick? (that other loader I mean)

[EDIT] No ssoner do I ask, then I realize that the question has been answered in the previous post... I'm on a roll today

cool, whats new? did they fix those bugs? like select not going into the menu
TouchPod is updated there.
Actually, I don't remember anyone mentioned the "SELECT"-button bug for Asian SAKURA release.. (I guess, this bug is only Eur/USA BETA version issue)

M3 Sakura v1.34 3rd Edition A04. This release integrates the M3 Real game core v4.3e.
The same thing in other words is said on GBAlpha.
(For more precise changelog - see the changelog of TouchPod v4.3e)

problem with cheat function for me with the new Sakura 1.34
-cheats don't work ;O!
Is Download-Play "ON" for the game(s) you tried to use the cheats?
afaik, the cheats won't work with games, when Download-Play function for these games is "ON"
(If my solution doesn't fit, try switching off the RTS funtion)

still doesn't work..
but wait, when i patch with DSATM, does that prevent/ effect cheats from working?

I remember there being something about a glitch with the cheat select menu. The Always On option should be the bottom-left of the three options. If it isn't, switch it to the bottom-left option anyways and have a go at it again.

Finally got back from New York, I'm back in California and am finally reunited with my US M3 Real
biggrin.gif

But now that I've had a chance to mess around with the official English release of Sakura 1.34, I'm starting to see why a lot of people were having problems that I wasn't experiencing. There are more differences between the Japanese and English firmwares than I had originally thought. For instance, I had no problems with the clean dump of Dragon Quest V on the Japanese Sakura after Narin updated his cheat database on the 27th. But on the English Sakura, the only way I can get DQV to work is with DSATM.

I don't understand why the English firmware is still in beta when the Chinese and Japanese ones are much more functional

As much as I want to go back to the Japanese firmware, I'm going to stay on the English version for a while to see if there are any other discrepancies that I may have put in the Sakura FAQ. If you see anything on the FAQ that is inconsistent with your own findings, it may be because it's info I found out myself based on the Japanese firmware. So please feel free to point out any inconsistencies on the FAQ so I can fix them

Edit: The solution by Densetsu3000 seems to be for 1.12.
For the record, I didn't come up with that. Credit for the "lmp-ng X-trick" goes to xumasso

The Sakura loader has been updated with the new TouchPod v4.3 files.

Note that the loading screen still says "GAME PATCH Ver: 4.2e," but it's just a BMP image file. All of the TouchPod shell files have been updated to v4.3.

You were faster than me, I was going to uploading just now the package with the new touchpod 4.3
Thanks again Densetsu3000.

You can't match the speed of a ninja

Actually, I was pretty slow. I saw that the first mention of v4.3 was on this thread at 05:12AM (according to my time settings), and I didn't get around to updating the loader until 02:32PM--that's a full 9 hours and 20 minutes! I theoretically should be able to break the time-space continuum and update the loader even before it's updated by the M3 Team! As a ninja, I've failed

I'll do better next time, I hope

Thx for the updated files

Just in case anybody wants to have an updated loading screen (with game patch v4.3), I was bored today, so I made one. Here it is: Click

Because I used a slightly different font for the loading screen and wanted the two screens to look the same I also updated the create screen. It's nothing special or important, but it's my way to thank you guys for this site

Hope you find this somehow useful.

Just curious, if I download this new package, does the fixes made in the Touchpod 4.3 will be available in Sakura too (i.e. DQ5 fixes)?

If you want to take advantage of the fixes in this update you will have to boot into Touchpod. You'll have to wait for a new release of Sakura for these fixes to be made within the sakura menu.

I don't know if the Sakura firmware is the problem, but The World Ends With You freezes about 5 minutes into the game. Did not happen with the regular M3 Real firmware, or the iSakuReal firmware. Just thought I'd bring it up.

That's a common problem. The scene where they run past each other? yeah.
Some say it helps if you open and close the DS repeatedly during the scene, but you might as well get a save as close as possible to the scene.
(The open close thing didn't work for me)

It should work just fine...maybe the instructions you found weren't clear enough? Try this, it worked for someone else who originally said the open-close trick didn't work.

Thanks for the clarification. Will attempt the solution later on today.

Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
