Hacking Atmosphere-NX - Custom Firmware in development by SciresM

Trying to install the latest dlc for a game that came out a couple days ago, and getting a "no content meta found" error, with no other cause being mentioned.
FW is 18.0.1, Atmosphere on 1.7.1 There's some other recent games that are working just fine. Any ideas why i'm getting that error? I tried installing same file from other sources and they all give that message.

Update your CFW (Hekate, Atmosphere and firmware via Daybreak), sigpatches (I recommend using sys-patch instead) and DBI (English 658 should be fine, but I personally use the latest Russian version) and see if the issues persists.

Appreciate the advice. Everything is up to date except not on the latest beta atmosphere because not recommended, and the latest 19.0+ fw I thought wasn't recommended, because it won't work on anything but the latest beta atmosphere? (I'm using 658 DBI as well)
Not sure exactly what sys-patch is and how to implement that correctly, but I guess that's what upcoming atmosphere will be using? Is that compatible with Atmos 1.7.1?

I'm on the latest and greatest and yet to run into an issue. The more modules and homebrew apps you have on your current CFW setup, higher the chance that something might get broken after the update so take your pick. Firmware 19.0.0 introduced some issues with the unofficial GameCube adapters so keep that in mind. Also, forwarders stopped working and they need to be updated to reflect new changes. You can use this tool to make your own forwarders if you want. Apparently, 19.0.1 fixed some of those issues but some unofficial adapters might need a firmware update from the manufacturer in order to work properly with the latest firmware.

I'm only playing game backups, not even using forwarders, cheats, overclocking, etc. Just playing backups. If that's all you do as well, I'd say it's safe to update right now. There aren't many games requiring the latest firmware in order to work, so there's that as well.

It should fine for some basic stuff like installing NSPs and XCI. I personally use the latest Russian-only version. TinWoo Installer is also an option if you want up-to-date English installer.

For the end user, sys-patch does the same thing as sigpatches. I personally like it as it's easier to update and, since it has less files, you'll have less clutter on your SD card. For Atmosphere 1.7.1, I'd recommend using version 1.5.2 (I presonally used this one, but both should work just fine). Atmosphere 1.8.0+ should use 1.5.4 instead.

I use NXVenom, but only thing I have on by default is sys-clk-oc, so that everything has a small memory boost. Not sure it will get broken with the latest release.

So for sys-patch, can I just drag/drop and overwrite what I have? Or will the existing sigpatches mess it up when they are brought over?

I've heard about those, but I've personally never done any overclocking on my Switch (yet), therefore I can't really say whether it'll break or not. From what I can see 5.0.2 release notes say that it was updated for AMS 1.8.0 / HOS 19.0.0, so I think it should work on the latest firmware (including 19.0.1 as it didn't break Atmosphere compatibility).

Personally, I no longer have sigpatches on my SD card as sys-patch does everything for me instead. Having sigpatches alongside sys-patch shouldn't cause a conflict and you should be good if you just overwrite the existing files if prompted.

My switch got update accidentally (the servers were not blocked, but are now via emummc.txt in atmosphere).

After a few hours of maddening updates and errors, i now have my system back running, however there are two issues remaining.

1. When i select "CFW - sysMMC" from hekate to boot, i get the following error: "Failed to apply 'nosigchk'". I can still contine when i press POWER and all games but two run flawlessly. However, this error never occurred in the past and every time i look for a solution the answer is always "have the latest sigpatches", which i do, and in addition i also installed sys-patch. So i dont know exactly what the problem is. (V 19.0.1, atmosphere prerelease 1.8.0, hekate 6.2.2)

2. The two games that i mentioned before are also confusing the shit out of me, because they ask me to remove the airplane mode. If i dont, the game wont start. If i do, i get another error message saying i need a nintendo account to play the game.

I have the feeling both these issues are somehow connected, but i am not sure.

Any help is appreciated

My 6 year old accidentally updated my switch to 19.0.1 from 18.1.0, put the latest beta atmosphere on, latest hekate, latest sigpatches and it all mostly works except for nro forwarders (whatever), but it now turns off after pressing the power button once or being put on the dock lol. I have no idea how this suddenly started happening, any ideas?
