The Kingdom Hearts games are coming to Steam

After a little more than three years of exclusivity with the Epic Games Store, Square Enix has decided to bring their beloved Kingdom Hearts franchise to Steam. The whole saga headed to Steam includes Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 HD ReMix, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, Kingdom Hearts III and its Re Mind DLC, with the full collection packed together under the Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece label. They'll all be releasing the same day, on June 13th.

FINALLY.

Now I no longer need to pirate these frickin' games in order to enjoy them. You know how you can beat piracy? By providing a superior service - and Steam is a much better service than the bloody awful EGS, and at times pirating.
Maybe I'll replay KH1FM and KH2FM in December or next year, and finally play KH3. Who knows when I'll do it?

To all the repliers, thanks for the feedback, i already bought the entire collection off of ps store, except that cringey musical one that released last

Not saying you have to enjoy the game, but to single one of the games out as "cringey" as opposed to the others is a funny idea to me

Hell yeah, keep it up Square. Just converted to PC only since a year ago and I'm digging all the ports that have been made since then to Steam.

Might be time to finally dig into KH and finally understand what's so good about this series

hopefully works good.
last kh releases on pc would not play right with my xbox controller. jumping would like jump and roll or something. no matter how many times i calibrated. only would be okay with kb+m

Topaz. the lead dev on the Re:Fined mod is looking at the Steam listing and claims that most of the bugs and issues (including the games being unplayable on AMD 7000 series GPUs) will likely remain present in the Steam release

I hope proton is updated to work with the games, because right now the cutscenes Don't work. (I prefer it fixed on the proton side, rather than the game itself) that way it potentially fixes other games with a similar problem

The KH Steam announcement trailer received more views in one day than the announcement trailer for EGS did in three years. Calling EGS a marketing black hole would be an understatement, most gamers have no idea a PC version exists when it's exclusive to Epic.

    @Xdqwerty I like how the game had the middle ages 1000AD, the dark ages 600AD.It was great seeing the post robot apocalypse 2300 like Terminator and enter the matrix. some of mad max and fallout. 2300ad though it could had used more elements instead of just a generic ai uprising. It was a great idea for their judgement day to be 1999 Y2K.
