it's possible it requires the internet, just not sure why it would though.I wasn't able to install Trimasu using Haxchi but I did it using the browser. many thanks

Hi!Still stumped on this; probably won't be able to mess with it until after my move. As I said, I got to like the 4th page of instructions before, and tried to do the second Wii U Exploit through the browser, but instead of doing what it was supposed to do, it just kept booting into Homebrew instead for some reason.
SOMEBODY please explain to me and my pea brain what exactly I'm doing wrong. I'm short on time here.
This is the hack I have been waiting for. I wonder though, is it possible to host your own server so you don't necessarily have to connect to the internet in order to reach the web page the first time? I ask just in case the web page should ever be forced down for some reason.
This is because when you launch Tiramisu while holding R it disables itself.after doing that it seems that still the system doesn't enter tiramisu neither on boot or when entering the h & s app
Can anyone tell me the benefit of updating from CBHC to Tiramasu?
I've got a WiiU I haven't used in years, I just pulled it out so that I can use it to make a video but I'm always keen to keep things up to date!
Currently, when I turn the console on I get a notice that CBHC 1.60 is booting, so obviously I'm Coldbooting CBHC. Just wondering what improvements or differences I might see using Tiramasu.
Thanks all!
You have to disable it at bootup iirc, since it blocks updates.I just noticed that my wii U is on 5.5.5U and my wii U is asking for an update, can I update while having tiramisu installed? Or do I have to uninstall it first before updating to 5.5.6U?
I play the wiiu almost every day, and I'm on 5 5.6, no issues for me. It did revert my theme back to official, but that was easy to fix. There are reports of 5.5.6U update running for a quite a long time - several hours - and (semi?) bricking consoles if console was forced to shut down. So I'd be a bit vary on the update myself. And if doing it, letting it run however long it took.
Might be a symptom on NAND "giving up the ghost", but as far as I know, nothing definitive has yet been found of the reason of long update time.
Yeah - I guess for most people update works as intended. I guess for you the update didn't take hours? Anyway my point was not to shut down the console if the update did seem to be frozenI play the wiiu almost every day, and I'm on 5 5.6, no issues for me.
