Animator for Metro series passes away while fighting for Ukraine's independence
Andrii Korzinkin, a senior animator for developer 4A Games who has worked on the Metro series, has passed away. Korzinkin had worked for the Ukrainian company on Metro Exodus doing animations and motion capture, and prior to that, had worked on various cartoon animations with studio Pixelation. The news of his passing away was announced by Leonid Stepanov, a former coworker from 4A, who now works for Remedy Entertainment. According to him, Andrii Korzinkin had died in the midst of a combat mission against Russia, fighting for Ukrainian independence.
