While E3's time has passed, Europe continues on the tradition of eventful physical events. This year's Gamescom is here, taking place in Germany, featuring over 1,000 developers, studios, and more, all showing off their video games planned for future release. We're going to be covering the event, rounding up all the announcements and reveals, while highlighting the biggest trailers of the day.

We kick off the event with Borderlands 4, announced by Gearbox. It'll be out next year, for PC, PS5, and XSX/S.

A trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is shown. It's out this October.

Goat Simulator is getting a remastered release for current generation platforms.

Sniper Elite: Resistance announced, releases next year.

Dying Light: The Beast is an expansion for the game, offering 20 hours of gameplay.

Assassin's Creed Shadows gets a gameplay trailer.

Dragon Ball Z: Sparking is 50 days away from release. Tons of characters from the roster are shown. Pre-orders get to play 3 days earlier.

Create your own dungeons and fight in 4 player co-op in King of Meat. 3D beat em up.

Lynked is the next game. It's an indie title. Action co-op hack and slash. There's crafting and settlement building too. Early access launch is October 22.

Lost Records: Bloom and Rage is made by the Life is Strange devs, it'll be episodic. First episode is out this October.

No More Room in Hell 2 is coming soon. 8 player co-op.

Arc Raiders is coming 2025.

Cats, ghosts, very cute monsters. Everything is cute. Pink haired girl and her cat tame tons of monsters in Infinity Nikki.

Warhammer Space Marine 2 is out September 9.

Predecessor is a free to play game. MOBA.

Path of Exile 2's early access date is revealed. November 15th.

Open world survival MMO Dune.

Reanimal is a horror game. Coming soon.

Genshin Impact is getting new content on November 20. Coming to Xbox as well.

Monster Hunter Wilds gets a new trailer.

Naraka Bladepoint is getting Tomb Raider content.

Fatal Fury Cry of the Wolves gets a new trailer showing the pre order bonuses.

Mecha Break shows more of its gameplay.

Monument Valley 3 announced. December 10.

Civ VII is next.

Rev-8 is a new car coming to Starfield. Shattered Space DLC is out September 30.

Deadpool movie director is making a TV show that's 'like a video game'. It's called Secret Level. It's been worked on for three years. 15 episodes. It's a show that features video games in it.

Age of Mythology Retold is out September.

Delta Force is an FPS. It'll be out on PC early access in Q4.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 has a new trailer.

Batman Arkham Shadow, the VR game, has its debut gameplay trailer. October 2024. Meta Quest 3 exclusive.

Gamescom Latam and Gamescom Japan will take place next year.

Little Nightmares 3, from Supermassive, has a cinematic trailer.

Firewatch devs are making a new game. Herdling. 2025.

Peter Molyneux takes the stage. Masters of Albion is his next project. He's been working on it for years. It takes aspects of Dungeon Keeper and Black & White. It's self-funded, and a lot of his former employees from his older games like Fable are involved. It's a sim game. You can possess random people in the town to use them, turning the game into a third person one.

Squid Game video game. Mobile game. Fall Guys-like.

Unknown9: Awakening is an open world action game.

Arena: Breakout is a squad shooter.

Dark and Darker mobile is available to pre register for.

A simulation farming game is next. Build your town up, farm, very Animal Crossing-esque. Floatopia. 2025.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle shows off its voice acting and mocap. December 9th. It'll be coming to PS5 this Spring.

Mafia is getting a new game, with more to come in December. Mafia: The Old Country.

Before they announced that new game, I never even heard about the franchise at all.
And I'm a huge FPS player, I'm basically born with a CD of Unreal Tournament in my hands. So this was a huge surprise when I was reading people saying that it's actually a very old franchise that's being brought back

Tho it's made by a chinese studio and seems to have nothing to do with what Delta Force used to be lol


Haven't followed the live. Honestly there are some pretty good interesting titles.
No More Room in Hell 2 I've been waiting for years now ... among other things. Pretty nice stuff overall, I usually don't expect anything from Gamescom as most stuff gets announced around SGF, so I got a little surprised

Best part was the Terrance gameplay trailer at the end of pre-show. Otherwise nothing new...still looking forward to Monster Hunter Wilds and Civ 7, tentatively excited for City of the Wolves.

Mechanically I just love SF6, but I've been drifting from character to character, have six of them in high plat/diamond. The second they announced Terry for season pass 2 I knew my main was finally on the way. He helped teach me motion inputs in SSBU and that's what got me into fighters starting with Guilty Gear Strive. Now I'll be climbing the mountain to master rank with him.

I'm look at Nikoderiko - The Magical World in video look amazing! Similar to Donkey Kong game and others like that. Sweet game.

Age of Mythology Retold is something new to me. I remember I did play Age of Mythology on my old computer running Windows ME & Windows XP long time ago. It's my favorite all of times! It's best RTS game so far. Also like WarCraft 3 is best game made too. Same like Age of Empire 2 and 3. My favorite all of times. Don't forget Armies of Exigo (this have two maps - normal map and underworld map from tunnels/caves to go in/out at same time) look similar to StarCraft / WarCraft 3 game. It's awesome game!

Also Gothic 1, Gothic 2 and Gothic 3 remake / remaster games will come out quickly soon to near future.

I think SpellForce 1 to 3 Remake / Remaster, SpellForce 4, WarCraft 4 and StarCraft 3 will come later in year 2025 and after. I know this games will require RTX / RX video card for ray tracing look like real life in video games.

I love a lot of video games and experience many in them. So fun time.

Not sure if how many games will support Windows 10 but soon will force everyone to move in Windows 11 and Windows 12 for new video games that would required. But sad news for Windows 10 support end in October 2025, new video games will not work on Windows 10 about 2 - 3 years later same like what Windows XP and Windows 7 lost support due to new video games require new operating system, more powerful CPU, GPU, more RAM and more storage after that. That's why companies want force many people to buy new gaming computers again, again like every 3 - 8 years then buy new video games to play them.

Have to agree with this. Seeing some more Monster Hunter Wilds was pretty much the highlight for me. I am one of those who really enjoyed World.

I'm just getting more and more stoked for Wilds. I'm holding out hope that it'll also get announced for the new Switch since I have some non-PC friends I'd love to play with. The game having cross-play is hype either way though.
