Ship of Harkinian (Ocarina of Time) Wii U Port

This is a port of Ship of Harkinian to the Wii U. Ship of Harkinian is a PC port of Ocarina of Time allowing you to enjoy the game with modern controls, widescreen, high-resolution, and other great features!
Check out the awesome project here!

Quick Start

  • Requires a supported copy of the game (See supported games below).
The instructions below haven't been updated in a while. Join the official Discord for updated builds and support.

Releases:

  1. Download the Khan Charlie 6.1.2 .zip from here or the #downloads channel on the official Discord.
  2. Download the PC OTRGui version from here.
  3. Use OTRGui to create an oot.otr archive file. If you already have a oot.otr file for the latest PC version, you can use that as well.
  4. Copy the oot.otr file to the wiiu/apps/soh/ folder on your SD Card.

Nightly Builds:
:!:
The nightly builds come with up-to-date features, but are experimental. Use at your own risk.
  1. Download the latest soh-wiiu and soh-windows artifact.
  2. Use OTRGui from the soh-windows.zip to create an oot.otr archive file. If you already have a oot.otr file for the latest PC nightly version, you can use that as well.
  3. Copy the oot.otr file and the contents of the soh-wiiu.zip to the wiiu/apps/soh/ folder on your SD Card.

Hey, sorry for not posting any updates here in a while.
This project is not dead at all though! There have been several added features in the nightly builds.
The latest builds even include the ImGui menu from the PC version!

You no longer need to manually edit any files, just press the "-" button to open the menu.

I updated the OP with updated instructions for the nightlies.

should we keep or delete the cvars.cfg file?

I was able to download an rpx file that would probably be the nightly build of SoH that GaryOderNichts made on GitHub. I added it to the SoH folder on my sd card and tried to out, and it still runs but I cannot open the emulation menu with the minus button. Is there something that I'm missing to make this work?

Doesn't matter. The latest The latest nightlies will remove it anyways.

Sounds like you downloaded the latest release, and not the latest GH action build.

Ok, so I click on the link to go to the actions tab on GitHub that you provided, I see a list of these builds I believe with the latest being “wiiu: Don't call stray SDL_PumpEvents in Controller::Read,” I click on that and I see the rpx file I used so where is the action build from there that I should download?

Under the actions tab, left side should be "Build" click that, then click on any one of the listed files. Then click on this:

I think you might need a github account to download these.

Ok, I definitely downloaded the circled item (the rpx file in the zip folder when I downloaded it) from the picture (I have an account already) and replaced it with an existing file in the soh folder on my sd card. However, nothing happened when I pressed the minus button on my gamepad.

This shouldn't matter in most cases but instead of replacing the file try deleting it and putting the new one in there.

I replaced it by deleting it and then putting in the new file.
The creator said the cvars file should get deleted on its own but if it isn't, delete it manually. If that doesn't work then I'm not sure. My issues were all solved by doing a full re-install then moving my save files over. I can drop the oot.otr file here for you if it's allowed so that you can start over.

Alright, I might as well just delete my files and start everything from scratch. I'll follow the steps for his nightly builds.

The oot.otr isn't allowed as it contains the assets for the game.

When will GaryOderNichts make an update to his wii u port that includes the updates from the pc port? I think some people got this working because they use a certain cfw on their wii u while I use Haxchi and it's not working for me(it keeps saying not to use the pc OTR files on the wii u).

Afaik, the oot.otr is interchangeable.

Well, the only oot.otr that ever works for me is when I created one from the OTRGUI BE version that the creator provided and it is still the first version. I cannot seem to get newer versions working without it thinking it's the pc version.

I was able to delete Haxchi and install and setup Tiramisu, and my games I play with cfw are working, like the GTA 3 port, but I still cannot work SoH. I'm even using the game files that nihilancheb had given to me and it still doesn't work.
