Hi! I tried installing Bayo2, and it was going great! But it got stuck at 89% and i had to turn off the Wii U. This has happened to me on other games as well, like just dance 4. What can i do?

There's no error message, it just stops 89% and doesn't continue donwloading. I left it all night long and nothing happened.
And that happens to me for other games too (like JD4).

So I started using Nusspil to obtain some more games. I still don't know if my game has fully completd cause it doesn't stay on the green competed screen if I set it to download and walk away. I do know however if I select to delete the files off the SD card once it's done, which is a great feaure. I was wondering though. If in the case where something goes wrong and it crashed halfway downloading a file. Could there be an option in the downloading screen where you can tell it to delete the last file it was downloading, redownload it and then move on from there? That would save time from having to go into WiiXplorer, deleting it there, then get back to downloading the game. Or just set it to not shut off while holding the green success screen. Just a suggestion to help save time.

So, Wii U games can be installed on a usb hard drive and load from the main Wii u hub.

I wanted to know how to download and install the Wii games in the list…

Do you need to install nusspli on the Wii home brew and use it from there or still use in in the Wii u area?
Do they have to be installed to a different usb device (I’m guessing yes)?
Then where do you store and run the files.

Thanks for such an awesome piece of software, much appreciate as backing up a disc was taking forever 🤪

You have to create the games by yourself with an injector ;)

You can’t just install them from the servers like the Wii u ones?

By injector do you mean Wii usb loader? Or tek moons piece of software?
I’m on a Mac too, so this is something to consider- would this be witgui? (I wasn’t sure exactly what an injector is- so my answer is based on how I interpreted it)

Thanks

you could try a vwii drive and just download the wbfs files. as for ustealth, probably won't work with a mac, but afaik, the only difference is the first sector, which you can probably hex fix or you can use linux (think command is in the ustealth thread) or buy an hdd enclosure with a toggle switch, like I have. sabrent makes one.

When i try to install multiple titles at once, i get this error. How can i fix this? It's a bit annoying to install all the titles manually.

Holy cow where have I been!? Didn't realize this was a thing. Been using that other app that requires the title keys. Gonna hook up my WiiU again soon and give this a shot.

Probably because of what it does. I imagine the person behind the app store doesn't want to risk hosting this. Download link is on github you can find it in the OP

Why isn't this program up on the homebrew app store yet?
Remember freeshop for the 3ds. It is technically not illegal. But this is where the "title key page" comes into play: On this page, all encrypted title keys are/were hosted (and for simplicity, directly offered tickets) that freeShop directly downloaded and installed. In this respect, freeShop was not illegal per se, as long as you used your own title key database. Which, of course, no one did. And this is the reason why the person behind the app store doesn't host this. Maybe...

A bit offtopic, but the message counts.

From what i understand its not using a titlekey database at all like USB helper and freeshop does/did. Its actually generating the title keys using the leaked algorithm. I can't imagine this is legal.

Yes legality of USB helper and the now defunct freeshop technically was a grey area. The programs themselves weren't illegal it was more using the databases to obtain titles you have no legal right to download. If anybody is really liable mostly its the databases themselves in question. I highly doubt Nintendo would bother going after individuals for doing that though. Furthermore i don't think Nintendo can even tell the difference between a legitimate download and an illegitimate one anyways on the server side bc the title keys basically tell the server you have the right to grab those games.

This is just my personal understanding amd I could be wrong so take what i said with a grain of salt *shrugs*

i thought everybody knew cocktails are like 75% ice
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Yeah but not like this.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's not like they're complaining that their Slurpee is 99% ice or something, but if the cocktail calls for "shot of vodka, shot of vermouth, shot of gin, shot of Campari, three shots of juice, squirt of lemon" and ends up being a thimbleful of booze, that's a problem.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
the funny thing is cocktails in norway are only allowed to have 1 20ml shot of booze
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    so..... yeah
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
we're used to only having a thimbleful of booze

same thing if you want whisky on the rocks or something, you can't get a double
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but you could buy as many shots of whisky (or anything else) as you want and ask for a glass of ice and pour them in

    it's dumb

    Maybe.

There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.
  • Veho @ Veho:
But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".
  • Veho @ Veho:
Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.

Usually accidentally overdose of ibuprofen here is from people taking like cold medicine then ibuprofen for a headache and the combination is over what they need
