Hi niuus, thx for your work on this
Just for note of curiosity: Would be harder to make WiiSX RX a PCSX-Rearmed emulator ?
Since Wii is a low-end device maybe Rearmed would be better ?
Just thinking IF Reloaded is worst
that emulator is coded for ARM not for ppc that is the wii fundation...

ps1_netemu on PS3 **is** coded for PPC devices and is amazing performant.

Amazing job.

BTW, @niuus if you may consider this request: Please add support for hotkeys : like quick save state / load state, or Speed limiter ON/OFF (because I like to disable it for fast loading and enable it again in-game).

Like, for example :
SELECT + L1 : Save current state
SELECT + L2 : Load current state
SELECT + R1 : Toggle speed limit ON/OFF

Better than having to go to the menu, sub-menu,... each time for that.
Thanks.

Hi, has anyone had any luck playing Alundra?
Shows as working on my compatibility list, but i did not mark it as finished (played from beginning to end). Care to expand the info?

Covid has not been kind on the economics here, and my 256GB flash drive for testing games died (someone with a spare?), so i've had 2.6 on the back burner for a long while... i recently added the permanent 480p fix and more 3rd party controllers (connected to the Wiimote) should be working now. One of them is a special treat for me as the adapter was sitting in a box doing nothing for years, since it was incompatible with the majority of homebrew. I'll later post a pic so interested people are aware of the compatibility, which will be awesome for PSX lovers out there and closer to the original experience. :yayps3:

Well, it works pretty well with dynarec (some graphical glitches here and there but nothing big), but it has some annoying bug which renders the game unplayable.
Not sure it happens with me only, but when you get some item that gives a text box (and a characteristic sound I guess) you can't do anything to proceed, its like the gamepad suddenly disconnected or something.
It had this bug when I tried years ago with an older version too.

speaking of the list
will there be any possibillity of releasing the list once 2.6 releases?
Whenever a new flash drive/usb hdd gets in my hands and i can resume work on the list, to reach at least 900-1000 games tested (i already passed the 500-600ish mark when i stopped months ago), then no.

The compatibility changes i have for the new releases will probably change a lot of games. Some could break and others will start to play. Some of them improve the experience (Final Fantasy IX, Puzzle Fighter, Dino Crisis, Mega Man X6, etc.), and some started to work fine when using both types of BIOS.

I have savestates in two specific points where I encountered the bug, if you wish to take a look at some point.
Is not far from the beginning though.

Sure, i wouldn't mind taking a look. But do share a Memory card too, in that case.

"SLUS00553.st1" was the first time, I thought it would be ok if I just left the bushes alone. But turns out, in dynarec they are dropping items they shouldn't be..
"SLUS00553.st7" inside the box.

would be nice if someone else wanted to take a look. Just so I make sure I'm not going insane...

The game has two revisions, and you did not mention which one you're using...

You did not attach the Memory Card...

Because I've tried both. Also the European version, and the "Un-Working Designs" hack.
All with the same save, not sure if this matters.

You tried them. I didn't.

Revision. Not the game's region, nor any hacks, which is not what we're discussing here. There are 2 official Alundra disc revisions for the USA region.

Of course it matters, big time. Save states are not always interchangeable as the data may shift around the disc.

Sorry, I really should have mentioned that. My bad.

Yes niuus, I have tried both. Version 1.1, and version 1.0. In that order. And also the other versions. :)
What I am not sure is if the save was the very reason for the bug appearing in the other subsequent versions. But I am no scholar, and that is why I asked for help.

Don't worry, i'll check it. Just wanted to expedite the process, hence the need for details.
