I've installed the latest Release V19.1.1 using my preferred method, i.e. downloading from a Web Browser, extracting and then Copy-Pasting into my Micro-SD Card.

As usual, I would copy all the Folders except ROMs and then after turning my New 3DS XL USA back on, I'd go into Homebrew FBI and Install and Delete the CIAs that came with the Release, just to be sure.

The problem I've been noticing for the last few Releases is that despite all this, the Homebrew Universal-DB will always notify me that my TWiLight Menu++ needs to be updated, by showing the green icon on the bottom right.

I have Updated to the latest Universal-Updater V3.2.1, so I'm wondering whether this notification is something for me to just ignore or is there anything wrong with the way I update TWiLight Menu++ that it keeps notifying me to do it again.

Thank you beforehand for any information.
Apparently, Universal-Updater cannot detect how you update any homebrew.

I have tw menu++ on my n3ds, Today, when I opened tw++, I got a visual boy message. That message did not appear the last time I played a few hours before, is there any way to solve it?

Hello, I have another question.
I'm trying to play Trackmania Turbo with DSI mode on, but it doesn't seem to work. I checked around page 200 of this topic and someone said it initially didn't work but was later fixed. What am I doing wrong? I tried to fiddle with most of the settings and try different combinations, but I can't seem to make it work.

My current settings are:
Run in DSi Mode (Forced)
ARM9 Speed - 133mhz
Vram Boost: On (can't change it to off since DSi Mode)
Card Read DMA: Off (tried with both ON and OFF, both white screen)
Bootstrap: Nightly (tried both as well)

The game runs in DS mode with 133mhz speed, but I get about 30fps, while in replay, you can clearly see the game pushing to 60 most of the time. Also when in DS Mode with 133mhz speed, if I open the L+Down+Select menu it still says 67mhz and I cannot change it.

Even when the screen is white, If I press L+down+select I get the menu, but in a really faded white color, but can still quit the game from there. Any help would be apprciated!

That would be a bug with the game itself.
Also, the in-game menu doesn't correctly show the set clock speed and VRAM boost yet.

I'm trying to use this on a DSi XL but whenever I load into Twilight Menu it freezes for a second and then reboots from the splash screen. It's stuck in a Twilight Menu boot loop until I turn the DSi off. Anyone know what's causing this?

It's a bug with how the font is rendered.
Try changing the theme. You can revert back to the default theme, after installing Unlaunch.

But the TWiLight Updater..maybe...

I did the Update with Universal Updater (the last 3 -4 Times) and the TWilight Updater always wants to Update again if I let him Scan for Updates..

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You have released v19.1.1 ! Not nice,without an Threadmark/Announcement here ! :P

They both track updates by saving which version it last installed to a file ("sdmc:/3ds/Universal-Updater/MetaData.json" and "sdmc:/_nds/TWiLightMenu/extras/updater/currentVersionsV2.ini" respectively), there just isn't a reliable universal way to keep track of what versions of things you have installed as the files don't really contain version information, at least not that's properly used in homebrew.

Hello, so I've been messing around and researching and found of the clock booster and stuff that twilight menu has, but then came across a problem where not all the settings seem to appear in either my flashcard or 3ds version of twilight, I've updated both versions to the latest v19.1.1, i tried going into the flash cart files and enabling the "scfg unlock" on the settings.ini, but nothing seems to change.
so 1, is the overclock or booster whatever its called thing available for flashcards? and 2 is it normal not to have all the settings? is it based on model or something? I have an rts r4i gold plus and new nintendo 3ds xl.

So the SCFG unlock setting is enabled in the Games/Apps page of TWLMenu++ Settings?
If so, then yes, the settings are available on flashcards. Also, make sure you launched the flashcard using TWLMenu++ itself.

Can you show a screenshot of the Games/Apps settings page?

the picture with the short amount of settings is when opening flashcart from 3ds menu, the flash card has autoboot. The other 2 are the settings that appear when I open up twilight cia on 3ds home menu. when i launch the Twilight cia version with the flashcart in my console, the options previously mentioned dont appear (like scfg acess) , or the option to open the flashcart. however once i remove the flash cart and open the twilight cia, and press SELECT, i get an option that says "slot 1 missing" and then once i reinsert the flashcart, the option to open it up shows up, but opening the flashcart through the cia at that moment gives me an infinite white screen, also if i open the cia without the flashcart inside the console, the options (like the scfg access) show up, but say they are on already.

If you don't see the SCFG and Slot-1 autostart settings, then you're already running TWLMenu++ with the flashcard mounted, so you should already see the TWL enhancement options.
The 1st and 3rd screenshots are the intended result.

the 1st and 3rd picture are from twilight on the console not the one on flashcart, but if everything is fine in the settings, is there a way to enable clock speed and all that? since the options dont appear on the flashcard or console version fo twilight, ive heard people say it needs to be enables on wood kernel but it doesnt seem like i can do the shortcuts or access the wood kernel at all because it auto boots to twilight.
