Hello
i'm following the dsi.cfw guide but after i use the hiyacfw helper and got all the files on the sd card, the hiyacfw voice doesn't show up in the unlaunch menu when i try to set it to run when no button is pressed.
i have the 1.8 version of unlaunch.

v8.0.1: Pre-easter release

NOTE: Starting with this release, all .srldr files (except bootplg and gbaswitch) come from TWLBot (the docker build).

What's new?

  • DSi/3DS themes, DSTWO users: Proper icon added for DSTWO plugin format.
  • Acekard theme, DSTWO users: DSTWO plugins can now be launched.
  • DSi/3DS themes: Save creation screen now fades in/out, instead of cutting in/out.
Bug fixes
  • Returning to TWLMenu++ with L+R+DOWN+B for 2 secs, is now fixed when running a retail cart.
    (May not work on DSi)
  • More memory values are set for Slot-1 games (using Direct launch method).
  • DSi theme: Bottom text of SELECT menu is fixed.
  • You no longer need to hold L for these games to work:
    • Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky
    • Rockman EXE: Operate Shooting Star/MegaMan Battle Network: Operate Star Force
    • Rockman Zero Collection/Megaman Zero Collection

I did something stupid: My card reader didn't want to read the original SD card shipped with my N2DS XL so I transfaired all files via fptd. After that I wrote the files to a new card with my card reader, powered the N2DS XL down and switched the cards. Since that time things startet to get weird but I think I fixed everything except TWiLightMenu++. The issue with it is that when I start a .nds file it just shows a white screen. I already tried to reinstall TWiLightMenu++ as well as updating it to 8.0.1. Also I tried to replace the .nds file with a known working backup. Before the SD switching it worked just fine. Any way to fix this?

Try deleting "settings.ini" at "sd:/_nds/TWiLightMenu".

Hey @Robz8 ,
Mariokart DS Deluxe is a hack that I am trying to get to work. However, as you're probably aware, it freezes on the N64 Yoshi Valley startup. This easily seals away a good third of the game, and I was wondering if anyone knows what is causing the problem?
I know hacks are usually not high priority, and feel free to ignore this if you feel it should be. This was just a little hack that I thought would be quite cool to play.
Nice job on the 3D updater banner, by the way! It looks awesome.

I actually didn't know about this issue.
Right after pressing A/START to launch the game, hold L, and see if it fixes the issue.
What holding L does is skipping the heap shrinking for games.

I held L right after pressing A, and it did not fix the issue. I don't think this means anything, but the note the game froze on was slightly diffee\rent then the one played when I did not hold the button.
