Hey I read through the FAQ and instructions but wasn't sure about these dsiware argv files named after the dsi system apps, are these able to be ran on a 3ds using DSiMenu++ or are these for hiya/DSi?

I have them in the folder in _nds/dsimenuplusplus/dsiware with the 2 argv files (DS Download Play and Pictochat) that were in there, and I chose the U ones for my USA region.

Thanks in advance!
They're for Hiya/DSi.

I'm using R4i-SDHC RTS Lite flashcard, may I ask what Forwarder pack should I use, as well as the "Flashcard autoboot"? I follow the instructions but get stuck with those 2 needed folders.

Any benefit to using this vs using a flash card? Can it play DS games faster?
You can use it on a flashcard, so the same speed as a flashcard will be used.
Also, using it on an SD card will allow us to have faster clock speed of 133mhz, faster than the original DS, and we can also increase sound quality, which can also be done on a flashcard.

Is there a way to autoboot R4i-SDHC RTS Lite flashcard at the moment, or is it still unavailable (I checked and tried everything in "Flashcard autoboot" but none of them are correct)? Thank you in advance.

I'm unable to get it working for that flashcard.

They do work. Results may probably vary, depending on the SD card size.
Not in my experience.
I tried with a 4GB card (it doesn't even work, it just shows de "An error has occurred" message, same SDNAND, and formated on FAT32 with 32kb of cluster size, and doesn't work without the autoboot also, so... meh) and in my main 2GB doesn't work to.
I don't have a bigger one to try.
Could be anything else?

Unlike TW Loader there is no menu in DSiMenu ++ to select a flashcard. In TWLoader I used TWLoader to launch my roms from my DSTT that would normally not load in the 3DS home menu

For the flashcard alone in a NDS Lite your tip helped @Robz8 but the flashcard refuses to work in DSiMenu++ and crashes the 3DS as mentioned in my quote.

I was having the same problem. I ended up using a freshly formatted SD card partitioned to 2GB FAT with nothing more than the console_id.txt and twlnf renamed to bootcode.dsi on it. Then, I pretty much just followed the 'Installing HiyaCFW' guide, including dumping the NAND fresh and dumping it to the SD card again. It really sucks having to re-install from scratch like this. It would be nice to have an easy way to update.

Just a quick question: can you actually run DSiWare ROMs in DSiMenu++ on 3DS and if yes, what type of ROM should it be? CIA or normal NDS?

Nah, still doesn't work.
I'm having the same odd results.
