the nintendont fowarder app in my wiiu does not recognize my hard drive, I put the games in the sandisk 8gb sd card and it recognizes the games, but when I copy the same structure from the sd card to the hard disk it appears the message (usb fat device could not opened).

*wii u recognize the sd card, but does not recognize hard drive.

*when i connect the hard disk in wiiu vwii, nintendont recognize the two, however in the nintendont u fowarder it does not recognize the hard disk.

****Someone please help me ....***

I have a harddrive mdr fat32 320gb seagate

Are you using a forwarder with gamepad support? When enabling gamepad support, you lose access to USB devices, such as a hard drive.

My solution to this problem was to use a 2gb FAT sd card in the Wii U. My 64gb sd card gives the no FAT device found error, I would love to find a solution also.

But my games are stored on the Wii U usb HDD. Loading games from a 2gb SD card with Nintendon't is going to be frustrating.

Format your 64GB SD card with guiformat (http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/index.htm?guiformat.htm). Windows doesn't like formatting drives larger than 32GB to be FAT32 because they want to promote using NTFS. So just use the guiformat I linked to and you'll be golden. Make sure to back up your data first, of course.

Thanks buddy, but I've already gotten it formatted in Fat32 with fat32formatgui. It seems Nintendon't doesn't like certain sd cards? Maybe Wii U mode Nintendon't has trouble reading bigger cards?

There is no Wii U mode Nintendont, it's simply running as WiiVC, and WiiVC has no access to USB. You can load the games from SD instead.

That sucks. I remember when they said getting USB to work in the Wii in GC mode was impossible and would never happen but it eventually did.

The PS3 and WiiU hacking scene is so weird and janky! Not complaining, I just wish people cared about it more.
