I'm kind of limited when it comes to SD cards at the moment. I have a 64GB formatted to FAT32 and I was wondering if I could store Wii, Wii U, and 3DS homebrew on the same SD card without running into any issues. Is it possible?

yes. They all use different folders for storage. Wii uses apps, WiiU uses wiiu, and 3DS uses 3ds. One of these things are not like the others.

It is safe. However.. It's not the optimal situation. You'll have to keep it on the 3DS and when you need it for the Wii and Wii U so you'll have to take it out, forcing you to close the 3DS everytime doing it.
And trust me, it won't be fun.

Alright, thanks. I get worried about this stuff a lot, lol.

I turn off my 3DS a lot. That's not a problem.

Okay, good luck with that!
And just remember that if something happens (ahh the answer will be pretty much no but still just in case) always report here and let us know that others will know about this too

Will the original Wii read an SDXC card?

I would be very careful doing this as both the 3ds and wiiu have very cheap sd card slots that break easily when the sd card is removed and reinserted a good few times.
Where'd you get that information from. I've removed and inserted SD card in Wii U and 3DS many times and never noticed anything cheap about the card slot.

Err from the loads of threads on here with people with broken sd card slots. Expecially on the original 3ds I have experienced the joys myself of the sd card slot braking by just removing the sd card a few times. And the fact I bought the replacement part brand new for 1 pound.

Damn, you must be a piss poor pirate, SD cards aren't that expensive...
But yeh, you can do it no prob.

Only thing is, good luck sorting out the clutter.
