Emulation [RELEASE] Cemu - Wii U emulator

I have an i5 4590, 24gb of memory, ssd, gtx 1079, and mario kart runs really slow, full stopping for seconds several times.
Any hints on how to improve performance?
I have the latest gpu drivers and running on windows 10.

If it's the first time you're running the game then the slowdowns are because of the emulator building shadercache. Go thru a cup and afterwards everything would play nice and smooth.

Normally, projects like this are supported by donations. This is funded by a forced paywall or you wait for a later release. I can bet you 99% of the people in partreon are not handing money over because they want to support it, but rather to get it one week early.

Well i've got two PC, one with a i5-4690k stock and the other with a i7-5820k stock. They got the same graphic card, a R9-290 OC.

Actually, i don't have any SSD, does it help to increase performance or something ? Or i have to overclock ? and it's better on i5 or i7 since CEMU is only using one core ?

i7 7700k @ 4.6
16gb DDR4 3200
1070gtx

Am I doing something wrong? I cant get ANY game to go 1080p or 4k.
I know the graphic packs are in the right folder because they show up on the graphic pack list in cemu. The "active" field by the game is checked so for whatever reason, cemu apparently thinks I'm in the chosen resolution. I'm using the default packs that came with 1.7.0 for now because I don't want to devote any time to making my own until I fix this. Is there an option I didn't enable or disable in the "Debug" settings menu? I left everything in default.
