I have been searching the web for ports of Super Mario War and Sonic Robo Blast 2 with no luck. I want a .3dsx version because I don't use CFW. Please try. It's very possible since SRB2 is built off of DOOM and had a Wii port and SMW had a Wii port, so there's a place to start.

I don't think it's not possible, the source code for both games exists, I'm just curious who would want to translate all of that code into the programming language 3DSX uses, which I assume to be a form of C? Correct me if I'm wrong, just speculating.
Edit: Whoop, ninja'd, read above.

super mario war might be possible and should play pretty ok but robo blast would basically melt the 3ds

i don't know about super mario war.
but srb2 will lag so much, on the port for PSP the game have lag on the 2 zone, and old 3ds have almost the same clock or something like that XD, the game will be unplayable
Well, the PSP and the old 3DS are two different systems. I doubt Nintendo would use the same software/hardware as one of the many mistakes in the world.
As for info on Super Mario War...
According to Wikipedia, Super Mario War is an open source, cross-platform, platform-adventure video game and level editor released on December 16, 2006. It is unofficially based upon gameplay elements and audiovisual media that are cloned from Nintendo's Super Mario series. The game centers on players fighting each other by one player jumping on the other player's head, or by making use of items which can be picked up during gameplay.

Why do you say that SRB2 will "melt" the 3DS? The 3DS isn't a low-end PC running Macintosh, ya know.

this is true, but running a program meant for PCs on a 3DS is already suicide; SRB2 is a badly optimized mess and you'd have an easier time porting MM8BDM to 3DS, which is in and of itself another thing that would melt 3DSes due to sheer intensiveness

A reason for their explanation is that while yes, SRB2's engine is based on the DOOM engine, that's where the similarities end. SRB2's engine is a heavily modified version of the DOOM source, it's not just vanilla (or chocolate, for that matter) doom with some Dehacked mods spliced in, it's literally it's own engine that used iD's engine as a base.

.3DSX doesn't have enough privileges as CIA (Dynamic Recompilation) and it would probably be N3DS only and still lag.

OK, from what I'm getting, SRB2 is a clear no-go. I'm still wondering about Super Mario War, though.
SMW is not hard to port, but CITRA seems to have problems to run homebrew built with citro3d, so debugging the code is a pain since ctrulib (and sf3dlib) switched to it.

I had to halt the debug of Supertux, the debug of Powder is going very slowly and SMW is waiting in my to do list from this summer.

If you have patience, soon or later you'll have it.
