Thank you for replying again, but isn't there any simpler and safer way to install the a9lh ? I think you saw the Github guide and you know how much is it long? lets see, installing the Decrypt9(since I'm on 4.4.0-10U) then a step called 2.1.0 ctrtransfer ( long instructions) then last but not least the a9lh(long instructions again) itself and then luma...

I really wish there is a way to install it easily man?

You can use Gateway's method if you wish. Just keep on mind that it's buggy to install and could brick your console, plus the end result means you can't use any of the useful payloads like Hourglass9 etc, used for restoring your NAND without a hardmod. So you're taking a big risk installing it and the result isn't really worth it.

I'm not even sure if it will fix the Sun/Moon problem since you can't update your sysNAND in Gateway mode even with a9lh (they failed to add firm protection in their implementation).

I have a New3ds XL with 9.2 running ReiNand with menuhax. Can I just discard the SD card, and put a new card to install A9LH & Luma? If something goes wrong so I can go back to my ReiNand card?

As long as A9LH is installed go ahead and update the console.

If you have FBI you have nothing to worry about... I'm on 11.2 right now and I used Freeshop yesterday without problems. You could always install it first then update if you want.

You can install Freeshop on every fw version as long as you have arm9 and luma

Question regarding homemenu themes as .cia:
On that iso site, i can download theme packs as .cia, is it safe to install them trough FBI on Sysnand?

Why would you want to do that? You can transfer your saves by using Jk's save manager and install the games as a .cia on the hacked console.

Yes.
Though, i usually dl the theme then make the cia with howling theme app

Hello Quantumcat, I have chosen to go for the github guide and I made a progress, I downgraded to 2.1.0, but after facing the gliched screen they talked about in the instructions, I pressed the select button and the a9lh (according the instructions) should be installed by now. But when I come to the next step (configuring luma ) which I didn't see that we have done a step for installing it, anyways when I press the select button before pressing the power button I don't get any special screen for configuring luma or anything.

The question is, how to make sure that the a9lh is installed now? That is all for now but please allow me to ask again if I got stuck ^^ thank you

I had that mistake once. Try choosing the injectable FBI one instead of the stock hs file. That's how I resolved it.

I'm not sure I follow... I can't select the injectable FBI because hourglass only shows the stock hs.app to inject. I can't inject anything else :/

If Hourglass9 boots, (start on boot), a9lh is installed.
