Then make sure you're not blocking the Ninty servers, either on your console or on the router.

Or restore the NANDmin that you made while doing the guide.

Followed the tutorial and have everything setup, great guide thank you.

Im trying to install pokemon moon for my daughter (ill make sure she stays offline) however when trying to install with the cia installer it fails at the end. Am I supposed to use different software to install cia files or load the old 9.2 sysnand before installing or is my copy just not working maybe and redownload?

*Edit: Turns out was just a dodgy download of the game. Sourced another and working great, thank you guys.

I purchased the Pokemon moon edition of the 3ds xl. It has 11.0.0.33 installed. I read somewhere there will be a dsiware method to downgrade from 11.0. Is it still in the works? Thanks

hardmod or dsiware downgrade using an already hacked 3ds. dont expect a downgrade for 11.x anytime soon.

Okay, I need help @Plailect

Here goes:

I bought my girlfriend a brand new 2DS, the new (2nd revision?) blue model.

It looks like this: Nintendo2DS-747x309.jpg

It comes with legit .cia of Mario Kart 7 installed, instead of a download code. It also comes with 11.0.0.33U firmware. I followed your guide to the letter to do the DSi downgrade, got A9LH installed, and everything is working fine... Except I noticed something strange when it came to dumping the NAND. I did a full NAND.bin dump instead of a NANDmin.bin, and noticed it was 1,888MB in size!!! Did Nintendo change the NAND size on these newer models? (The NANDmin.bin dumped to the correct 943MB size)

And I have a problem with the END of the guide, when placing the arm9loaderhax.bin into CTR NAND. I follow the instructions to the letter, but it flat-out refuses to boot without the SD card in, even after doing EVERY STEP in the "Updating A9LH" page. Is this a known bug, or has anyone reported this happening before? Because I've re-done the section 4 times, line by line, with no success. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Ah, right. I forgot to do step 6, and it did the same for me. Can you try step 6 again and see if it fixes it? You may also have to initialize the browser's save data first.

6. Copy the contents of the SafeA9LHInstaller zip to the root of your SD card

I have a new 3ds xl that is already hacked with A9LH on fw 11.2.0.35 etc. Purchased the Pokemon moon edition yesterday and has fw 11.0.0.33 on it already. Wouldn't it be easier to update the new 3ds xl to latest 11.2.0.35 and follow this guide and not bother with the ctr-httpwn part section since it will be on same fw?

Yes, you can update your console to 11.2 but Ctr-httpwn doesn't take long to enable. I think you are losing more time by updating to 11.2 instead of doing the ctr-httpwn steps.
