Dump your nand?? When you do that rednand will be exactly the same. So you won't have to do anything extra cos the "legal" tickets are already there

the nand was dumped before i purchased this game, the game is visible on two nand as installed on usb, but can't launch Under rednand as the ticket is only installed in sysnand

Why don't you just install the legal game on usb in your RedNand. The game will Be Playable On Both Rednand And Sysnand
how can i done that? don't understand what you mean... i've installed this game from eshop directly to my usb drive in sysnand (also, ticket is present in my sysnand and not in my rednand)
do you mean:
-transfert game to internal mermory under sysnand
-install in rednand the fakesigned game
-remove from rednand the game(ticket still here)
-transfert game from sysnand internal memory to usb(game playable under sysnand and rednand)

do you think that can work?

Nintendo should have the information that you bought the game, so you can't re-download it.
Log to redNAND, connect to eShop and nintendo will reinstall the ticket to your redNAND like if you formated your console and didn't have tickets anymore.

I've read someone say that logging to Eshop (without even downloading the game) was enough to re-install bought game's tickets to a formated NAND.
just try to connect to eshop, if not enough delete it from your USB (in sysNAND) and re-download it to USB from redNAND (sysNAND will still be able to launch it as it has the ticket and will see USB).
Maybe you don't even need to delete from USB, nor even re-download it.

Thx a lot, that worked just by connecting to eshop, Nintendo reinstalled the ticket on rednand ;)

wait, so you DON'T need to reformat USB for it to work in REDNAND?

And to unlink... If I unplug the USB drive before formatting sysnand, when I plug it back in it will still work in rednand? I just want to avoid having to re-download everything to make the rednand switch.

if you format redNAND, it bricks redNAND.
if you format sysNAND, it modify the consoleID in the SEEPROM, making your HDD unlinked with the console (not with NAND or redNAND), making it unusable anymore.

Unlinking sysNAND and redNAND is useful?
I didn't read anything telling users should do it and why.
what is really linked? SD card content? (it's not using a number like the 3DS but a simple folder, it's used only by Smash bros?)
on 3DS it was useful because all the user's content is on SD using a userID, and sharing the same folder is messy. but the wiiU does not use SD.

if you format your sysNAND to unlink redNAND, you will have to make a new HDD (working in both sysNAND and redNAND, as it's linked to SEEPROM).

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol

I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol

So that version is semi rare
