Removing Emunand? Just format your SDcard. (classic method but very easy way)
In hindsight, my question should have been "does Luma now include an emunand remover tool of sorts? Because that's what I gather from that line on the changelog"
I know how to remove an emunand, I was just asking if Luma can also do this for you now, it'd be a nifty feature to have.

Nope, that's a bad idea, luma3ds is a cfw, not a sd card formatter. XD
If you want to remove the emunand by formatting the sd, use an adapted tool like: https://github.com/d0k3/EmuNAND9/releases
or your PC :-p

I have a question.

How to install the Luma3DS.nds MSET for use with Luma3DS and without a DS Flashcart?

I did it before back in the day with Pasta CFW and still works when I boot it up.
When I tried renaming the Luma3DS.dat to Launcher.dat, it doesn't work and crashes.

What do I need to do to make the MSET work with Luma3DS?
I have a 4.5 sysNAND 3DS ^^

you need a DS flash cart for the nds file. otherwise you can use the browser, if you have one. also I still don't think you can boot a high fw emunand with a pre-7.0 sysnand.

I use the browser to boot my rxTools 11.0 emuNAND from the 4.5 sysNAND ^^
What is the website to boot Luma3DS?

It means that Luma can be launched from CTRNAND and all of its features work - in other words, things like shadownand are completely deprecated

I'm a little curious how it will work to prevent a brick if a bad version gets installed. At least with the files being on a memory card if something goes wrong you just pull the card and replace the files.

The Luma3DS payload is copied onto the CTRNAND via GodMode9, as long as a9lh works you can launch godmode9 from the SD card and replace it

huh, that is pretty cool. I assume the Luma payload can be replaced with, say, Corbenik's?

Welp, that sounds dangerous o.O
Godmode9 should not be something the average guy messes with, only to troubleshoot stuff.

I assume that they are troubleshooting the little quirks the experimental sd-less a9lh had as well? Like not being able to boot DS cartridges or the unwrapping bug...

I see it being done as a one time install thing, but to continuously update it because it gets regular updates? Sounds too risky, I dunno...
