You can google it too if this thread isn't enough, you'll likely return a reddit result on top of other gbatemp threads. You can also access the homebrew launcher using the CIA homebrew launcher if you're on CFW, but I'm assuming you're just looking for hombrew only.

If you're willing to wait, most of the other cart based exploits will likely be updated to work, so if you used ninjhax before or whatever, it should work. But if you used browserhax, it's less likely to make a return, but never say never.

you need an 11.0 firmware.bin (Native Firm dump) and a CFW that can use that file (luma-dev). You can find that file either on the luma wiki or That ISO Site.

But why yellows8 update browserhax works oonn 11.1 while when I 'm on the site to access the hbl there is an error message : "This browser version is not recognized/supported by 3ds_browserhax_common. Whether this also applies to the exploit you're using is a seperate matter. See the 3ds_browserhax_common repo README if you just want to see if the browser exploit crashes."

Rxtools is outdated, so help and support will be very far from a few. You should update to newer cfw of your choice now or go the a9lh route.

Everything is answered in the first post, but to answer your question anyway:

Yeah, you can safely update from within Luma. No, you won't lose anything (though may need to do some extra steps if you use NTR), if you use Homebrew Loader then it should download new payloads.

Guys, bare with me a little bit. I'm a noob with this CFW stuff. I'm installing the CFW in a new, bigger SD card (my old one has Gateway emuNAND and all the other stuff) and now I'm in the part where I want to use the GW emuNAND as a SysNAND. In the guide there is this written:

Go to "EmuNAND Backup/Restore", then select the "EmuNAND Backup" option to backup your RedNAND to NAND_emu.bin.

Instead of using this method can I use an emuNAND backup that I have? If yes after I rename it where should I put it in the SD card?

"What happened" is that you can't just snap your fingers and there's an exploit, these things take time to make. Reverse engineering is a slow process that can take a not insubstantial amount of time, and remember that he has to find an arm11 userland exploit, an arm11 kernel exploit, and then also an arm9 kernel exploit. It's been years since there's been that much, so of course it's going to take time to discover an exploit.

Also, there's no point is blowing a new arm9 exploit when it's possible to downgrade on 11.0/11.1 already. You want to make these things last as long as possible.

I would have to agree to disagree. I mean yeah, I get most of your points on being helpful to the community etc etc. You have to remember though most of the Devs that works around here do it for free (or a few PayPal donations). I sort of agree with the "if you want something done, do it yourself" either that or give someone an incentive to help. What incentive to DEVs have to help a bunch of impatient greedy people? They do have their own lives, jobs etc. Some of you act as if 3DS development during free time is a paid service you're getting for free. Patience and gratitude are a MUST if you want these people to continue doing their work for nothing. Where would we be if Smea just "fuck it, I'm not getting paid for this. Not only that but I feel like the majority of the DEVs around here are pretty nice people and willing to help when you ask not demand it. Some of you around here have this huge entitled attitude like, if you know they can do it they SHOULD just because. On the flip side, if they really cared about not being chastised for an unreleased exploit or whatever they wouldn't post cryptic videos etc MONTHS before they plan to release, (if at all) and spark their own inferno.

Bottom line is DEVs are not the salves of GBATemp or the 3DS scene. They can at any time take their skill set and put it to use elsewhere be thankful you have SO much free support. Users are not to be ignored either, without people using your application it was a wasted effort anyway. The relationship between users and DEVs needs to remain mutual. DEVs need to stop telling people "I'll get to it when I get to it", after implying/stating a release and users need to quit demanding for stuff on their terms. Period.

I can understand that as well. The sad thing? No one ever has money. America & all these other countries aren't just expected to be rich & upper class all the time. We're gonna have to go through some hard times with financing. I would HONESTLY LOVE to donate to you guys to help you out. But sadly, money doesn't grow on trees, & I already need to find a way to grind $250 to actually graduate from my high school, so I can go to higher education. If I don't have $250, hoe do people expect me to try & pitch in this community? Once again, really can understand your point, but just know that you can't expect everyone to have money to help people out.

I've heard of people getting the games early, but I'm unaware if we can be able to do something with this firmware (i.e., check to see if randomizations were lifted, or have little reverse engineering to be done), or if it's nothing we can do.
