GUIDES:
(Follow at your own risk)
ALL VIDEOS OR PICTURES GO TO THEIR RESPECTIVE OWNER/s!

Just watch this.

It's fun to do.

1. Go to this site

2. Make a file on your computer and put all files on your desktop in that file (clears up space for the files)

3. Make another file name it "Devkitpro Files" this is where all the files will go after the installation open the "devkitProUpdater-1.6.0.exe" and run it, wait patiently!

4. Now you're done

5. No really you're done...
On 2ds (one that doesn't fold) or a o3ds (one with a switch that turns wifi on/off)
You watch this guide (or alternatively follow this one more self-explanatory)

If on a n3ds (one without wifi switch) watch this one (alternately you can read this thread instead)

YOU MUST BE ON VERSION 9.2.0-20 TO DO ANY OF THIS!!!
I WILL NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR BRICKED SYSTEMS
(I don't have any ownership for these videos, all information goes to their respective owners!)

If you happen to use a japanese New3DS or japanese New3DSLL you will have to delete a specific CIA file from your updates folder.

JAPAN N3DS ONLY: Delete the 000400102002CA00.cia file from your updates folder.

If you do not delete this file, you will end up with a bricked device. Once again, thisONLY applies to a Japanese New3DS/LL!

You have been warned twice! Once about the New3DS’ in general and once about the japanese New3DS’!

    • Grab the sysUpdater app from here and place it into the '3ds' folder of your SD card.
    • Make a folder called 'updates' on the root of your SD card.
    • Place all of the CIAs for the update you wish to downgrade to into the folder.
    • Eject your SD card, put it into your 3DS, and boot.
    • Open up the Homebrew Launcher in your entrypoint of choice and start the sysUpdater app.
    • If everything goes well, you should have some options. Since we're downgrading, you can go ahead and press the Y button.
    • Wait and DO NOT touch anything. The app will tell you when it is done. (It took me less than 5 minutes)
    • Once the app prompts you that it is done, wait. It will reboot automatically.
    • Bite your fingernails in suspense. If everything goes correct...
    • Your 3DS will be downgraded!

Video:

Find the "AGB_FIRM-PatchedV2-0004013800000202.cia"

You may or may not find what you want if you search up "0004013800000202.cia download"

Next make sure it saids "Patched"! Next go into FBI (Or any CIA Installer but I use FBI and you should to)
and then push the "L" button till you see NAND as its location. If everything works it should say "Install Successful".
RxTools:
Note: For Unlinking NANDS, see the "Installing a CFW" one for O3DS

0. Use FBI or BigBlueMenu (BBM) preferably.

1. Boot your 3DS and while booting Hold L & R (or from homebrew) to go to the RxTools Menu directly.

2. Go to "Advanced" > "Install FBI" > "SysNAND" > "Inject FBI" > Press B for Keep.

3. Go to "RxMode" and boot into SysNand pressing X while holding R (You should see in System Settings "RX-S 9.2.0-20U")

4. FBI should be installed in Health & Security app SysNAND.

5. In FBI, install the CIA you have.

6. Now, boot normally in EmuNAND and install the CIA and play the title. :)
Go to this site.
Put all files on the root (First Page) of your SD card.
Go to this site.
Put that in the "3ds" folder.
Now eject and put your sd card into your 3/2ds.
Turn your internet off (if on o3ds flip that switch if on 2ds or n3ds go into the settings in the top left corner scoll down till you see Wireless Communications and turn that off)
Now hold L+R then scan this QR code
3dsbrowserhax_auto_qrcode.png

The WiFi shouldn't work, so bookmark the page and call it "Browserhax" now turn on your WiFi. Go back touch the bookmark, and a little slider will come up, touch the left and the screen should flash. Now scroll down and tap Menuhax push "Install".
YOU'RE DONE!!! Now go and hold the "L" button while booting up and you'll boot up into the Homebrew Menu!

...I personally don't think the guide you put for the N3DS (for CFW) is a good one.

I've seen many people with issues and complaints, and they all followed that same guide.

I don't think I have time to manage such a thread, sorry.
K, Thx for giving a suggestion though!

@AncientBoi, Yeah, believe you can do PSP games as well. But a Pi5 is much powerful in comparison.

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Not sure about other models of Pi4 but the Pi 4 B with 8GBs OCed to 2Ghz handles PSP really great except like 1 game I found and it is playable it just looks bad lol Motor Storm Arctic something or other.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Other games I can have turned up to like 2X and all kinds of enhancements, Motorstorm hmmm nope 1X and no enhancements lol

Waiting for Anbernic's rg[whatever]SP price announcement, gimme.

I will admit that one does seem more interesting than the usual Ambernic ones, and I already liked those.
  • Veho @ Veho:
    I dread the price point.

  • Veho @ Veho:
This looks like one of their premium models, so... $150 :glare:

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    To me that seems reasonable.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I mean since basically all the games are errmmm free lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet :(
  • Veho @ Veho:
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
yes that's the expensive part lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean sure it's flexible and stuff but so is uremum but it's fiddly.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I want everything served on a plate plz ktnx, "work" is too much work for me.
  • Veho @ Veho:
Hmm, with that in mind, maybe a complete out-the-box solution with all the games collected, pacthed and optimized for me would be worth $150
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah it's all choice and that's a good thing :)
