EU New 3ds xl succesfull downgraded from 10.3 to 9.2.0-20 EU but i used instead"Bricktool" instead of "SysUpdater" it's the same program but renamed by someone with a certain version that never fails on a new 3ds because sys kept getting stuck at step 7 and bricktool worked always flawless

They released the Normal Non-XL New 3DS in the States some time back in like September 2015 when this bundle dropped. Its currently the only way to get a nonXL here. But yes, it has been released here for quite some time.

So I'm seeing a lot of success for N3DSXL from 10.3 down to 9.2. I'm currently on 9.9. Anyone have success with that, or would it be better to update to 10.3 before Nintendo releases a 10.4?
Using this version I get to the downgrade menu, but I get this error when getting cia file information:

I'm using the 9.2.0-20E(Full)_n3DS update from the iso site
Did you try to start the 3DS without the microsd? It seems that the homemenu can't start if you had menuhax installed before you downgraded. If you can start the 3DS without the microsd then go to customtheme option and disable theme or change it.
I can get to the power screen now by waiting about 10 sec and holding the power button briefly. Hitting home does nothing for me. I used Ironhax as my entrypoint. Can't do much after this.

If you havent tried already, try booting into Recovery Mode for the 3DS and update back up to 10.3 and either wait/try again.
While holding L+R+A+DpadUp simultaneously, press Power.
Does that mean that in order to do the downgrade, I need to uninstall homemenuhax first? How are you supposed to get to the HBL without the menuhax entrypoint?

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.+1 -

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.+1 -
