So I heard a lot of people saying ''America is freedom''
America is the most free contry in the world, etc..
But honnestly, about me, even if america is more free than Canada, I think they are too free
We in Canada are very free too but we don't have abusive freedom like USA.
For exemple, Canadian aren't free enough to allow their 3 years-old child to have a gun, but in USA, they are.
How about you, what is the best between Canada and USA?

Mexico, USA, and Canada are part of America.
As for the stereotypes:
guns- people are allowed to have them but cant show them around public places or have illegal types.
burgers- people eat a bit more burgers in the u.s than other countries but not as much as stereotypes portray, besides it is probably the only iconic u.s made food people know about so people believe we eat a lot of it (Italians don't just eat pizza or spaghetti right)

People believe that U.S is freedom because people believe U.S has a higher chance to be successful in life, thus being able to have less worries on payments and being able to earn more money in the process. U.S is also a melting pot of races so it is more comfortable for foreigners who decide to move into to the U.S and be able to not feel as foreign as in other countries.

All of this info is purely my opinion, I may be wrong about all of this so please don't quote me on this.

I'm gunna quote you though. Here is my opinion. Like two and a half centuries ago, the us was the staple for freedom. Most people in the US had come from Europe and of course had a war to succeed from England. Mostly for religious freedom and to get out from under a monarchy. So our founding constitution is based on the idea that we have established a country free from tyranny.

But we simply aren't as free as many other countries. Yes, we have first world things like proper sanitation, medical care, (although we are the only first world country that doesn't have free health care), opportunity for education and careers, etc.

But without real equality or equal opportunity, a large portion of people here live in poverty and have no chance of improving their lives. This "America and her freedoms" shit is propaganda. It was really shoved down the throats of Americans by right wing politicians and corperation owners over the past 15 years with this war we've declared on the world.

You can't convince an entire nation to allow it's government to declare war unless you convince them they are in danger. They need to believe that their enemies are out to destroy the one thing they value over any thing else, the thing this country was founded on.

Also, some places have open carry laws. You can walk down the road packed to the teeth with semiautomatic weapons if you want But cops will harass the shit out of you. And we do eat alot of cheeseburgers lol. Not as much as people believe. But I think every town has at least a burger place, Mexican, chinese, those are the most common.
