im planning on buying a sdcard for my n3ds

That should be enough for backing up plenty of your 3DS game collection in CIA format. How cheap is it? Like how much it cost in US dollar?

sooo, i disappeared for a few weeks, and i haven't used my 3ds since either. i come back to check some update stuff and find out tubehax is blocked....i'm currently on 9.9 o3ds. i have OoT3D and Smash if I really need to use either. Can someone point me in the right direction of how to regain hblauncher access?

it's safe to update via a smash bros cartridge (with updates downloaded on another 3ds) to 9.2 from 4.3?
I'm using rxtools 2.6 and i dont want to use sysupdater (bricking risk).
PS: I already have a browser on my 3ds

yes gateway is an option yes you will emu-cap (my own term) at 9.5 you can use eshop and games online with multimenupacher . . . and dstwo+ (gateway emulation) will be an option soon

Question, is the N3DS CFW stuff at a point where I'm not booting into one thing, configuring, rebooting, then finally getting into the game I want to play? Then when I shut it off, I need to do it all over again? I may be wrong in some of that statement, but I'm trying to figure out if the hacking part of the N3DS is at a point where I can just turn it on and go.

Nintendo took the 9.2 and lesser files off of the CDN, so you can't use any of the NUS applications to download them anymore. You'll have to find them on "some iso site."

and "CIAS to update my SYSnand" do you mean to 9.0/9.2? you need to get the files from that iso site because nintendo removed the files from there servers then you can use this guide [How-to] Upgrade your old3ds from 4.1-8.1 to 9.2.0-20 with Pasta CFW

I have just read on the R4 website that the R4I gold(3DS firmware updated to V10.2.0-28 ,our regular R4i Gold 3DS supports directly the newest 3DS V10.2.0-28.) Does that mean it will work with my 3DS FW 10+?

Thanks for the clarification, Modchipsdirect only allows Visa Credit Cards with international transactions. All standard Visa gift cards (AFAIK) don't allow International transactions. Is there any other website that sells Sky 3DS cards that is reputable and will take a regular Visa Gift Card or is there any Visa Gift Card that will allow for international transactions?

Make sure you don't brick your 3DS.

To use sysupdater with rxTools make sure you are on DEVELOPER MODE, many people brick their 3DS' because they just launch rxTools into system nand but this is NOT the same, regularly booting rxTools into sysnand uses firmlauch and bricks your 3DS, to use developer mode go to "Advanced options".

Use rxTools 2.5.2 or 3.0 beta 8, don't use the latest betas as they can be buggy and aren't completely finished. https://github.com/roxas75/rxTools/releases

Sysupdater 0.4.1 is the best to use.

About 10$. It's the cheapest one and i dont think toshiba had fake card

firmware.bin is cant be found or is otherwise bad try to create it again and replace your current one

I created a data folder inside the rxTools folder on the root of my SD card, and changed the name to what the readme.txt said to do. I changed it and replaced it a couple of times but it keeps happening.
