Glorious PC gaming master race reporting in.
Meh... I'll be waiting for the far superior PC version.
Blasphemy! The glory of the master race shall not be disputed! Only by switching to PC gaming can one achieve enlightment!
Consoles have "soul"? All a console is is a low-end PC with 90% of the functionality stripped away.
PC gaming is also vastly cheaper. Games only cost a tenth as much as they do on consoles.

Honestly, it'll be a good thing if consoles fall. They're the biggest thing holding back game developers forcing them to cater to obsolete hardware and reducing the ability of indie devs to publish due to the high price of SDKs. They use closed-ecosystems, allowing corporations to charge as much as they want without competition. Unlike on PC where you have Steam, Origin, GOG.com, Gamer's Gate, as well as physical distribution all competing with each other. Consoles are solely designed for publishers to make money. The very concept of a dedicated console doesn't make sense anymore. PC hardware is getting cheaper and console hardware is lagging further behind even with the next-get. I await all the console gamers who will likely jump boat if a crash was to actually occur.

You think you're phone has more power than you $1000 PC just because it's quad-core vs dual-core. Do you have any idea how CPUs work? Architecture and die size is much more important than core count. X86 is WAY more powerful than ARM. Compare IPS instead of core count, and when you do, you'll find that a low-end dual-core Core i3 is many times more powerful than the CPU in the GS4.
Have you also compared GPUs? GPU is 70% gaming performance. PC GPUs are WAY more powerful than anything you'll find inside a smartphone. The most powerful mobile GPU actually happens to be the one in the GS4, the Andreno 330. The Andreno 330 pushes about 150 GFLOPS, which is in between the Xbox 360 and PS3 in terms of power. Even a medium range PC GPU like thre GTX 760 pushes 2200 GFLOPs. Over 10 times more powerful. And if you compare a high-end PC GPU like the GTX Titan, you're taking about 4500 GFLOPS.
Mobiles may kill handhelds, but they will never kill the glory that is PC gaming.
If you think that's "high quality", you haven't seen how good games look on PC. The above visuals are average at best.
Oh really? Would thou care to explain how a console is "greater than" the glorious shine that is a gaming PC?
Does it have to do with the fact that consoles deliver inferior graphics and framerates? Or is it something to do with the fact that the games on consoles are more expensive? Or are you going to bring the argument that you like being locked to a single company's ecosystem? Do you enjoy having limited choices over peripherals? Or you enjoy not being able to experience mods and other player-created content? Do you dislike multitasking? Or not being able to work and play on the same machine? Do you find it enjoyable to be stuck with the same old hardware for over 7 years? And lastly, do you enjoy long loading screens?
I think I made my point.
