First Wii U game dumped? and it's 23GB.

VENOM
--> Proudly Presents: The Avengers - Battle for Earth (EUR) Wii U

Publisher.....: Ubisoft Platform......: Nintendo WiiU
Developer.....: Ubisoft Origin........: Europe
Release Date..: May 2013 Size/Format...: *.ISO (WUOD)

-- Release Info -------------------------------------------------------------->

Wow, things are starting to heaten up, eh?

We think a teensy bit of disc image header is cute and courageous.. but
here at VENOM we go for GOLD!

Today we give you the first full WiiU disc image! Nothing more to add, enjoy.

For the curious tinkerers, if you EVENTUALLY want to play this disc image
by whatever means, you will probably need this AES key:

->> 027c9557648a1a999aa7848319bb5ef2 <<-

P.S. Where are the sleeping giants who broke this console back in december?

That's as useful as 3DS roms right now...and honestly I hope it stays that way..

Let's say that I can afford to buy 20 games, over the lifespan of the Wii U. So what's the harm in getting 80 more pirated games, that will only be played once or twice anyways? Games like Jeopardy are not worth $50. Even if they dropped down to $20, which hasn't happened for any Wii U games, that's $20 better spent on better games. If I buy used copies of 3rd party games, that means I can't afford new copies of 1st party games, not pirating is like stealing from Nintendo. Most of the games I've pirated are not worth it. Some of them I've never even played, just collected in case I feel like trying them sometime.

Most people don't have infinite video game budget. Many people are trying to live on under 30k a year. After taxes, and school fees, I'm barely making above 20k. Most of that goes to rent and food. Plus, I have 100k in student loan debt, that will need to be paid off starting next year or so. I don't even have a car. I can't afford every single game. I need to spend what little money I can budget for games on the really really good ones.

Video games are a luxury, not a necessity nor would it be life-threatening without getting them. People don't have to spend money on games, now do they? Piracy isn't theft, yes, that's true. Just don't go about bragging about it, Nintendo might send their ninja squad after you. I've seen people get mauled by them.

This is old news anyway, and not useful for homebrew. I guess, if homebrew comes out using vWii but access to processors of Wii U, we may/may not get access to screen on gamepad (what most want), but the wiikeyU and inevitable clones and knock offs (or new concepts) will unlock piracy or game copies. WHAT I would encourage, since that seems to be coming anyway, is that somebody else "discovers" it and releases it. Marcan only gave out the exploit for vWii stuff, others "found" the Wii U hack. That would be an "F U" to companies like Wiikey U (NOT that I think it is fully warranted) that are charging people.

May not even get vWii stuff going.

I'm not rich either, but how the_randomizer said, video games are a luxury, not a necessity. So yeah if you can't afford them, why bother? The Wii U hasn't had many success so yeah, if it gets pirated it will lose the little third party support it has by now, that's why I don't want it to get pirated and if you're so desperate to play video games, buy a Wii and hack it or a DS with a flashcart.

1st party is same as with Wii. EA recycles games, and I will go with whatever MS or Sony has that is hacked, lol. Prevent piracy...too late. Don't risk 3rd party support, too late. Lol, bunch of headaches and likely years before somebody gets hbc in Wii U mode. Which is needed for screen on gamepad. I expect to see all games available once wiikeyU is on sale. At least people need to buy what is likely to cost at least $100 by most guesses.

If other offerings are pricey and start horribly I am going to laugh. Perhaps all home systems are at last round here.

Now let me ask you guys a question:
Have you ever pirated one of those 'Free Trial' or 'PAY FOR FULL VERSION!!' on a pc before? think about it...

I would guess... Yes
I've done that probably.. I don't know.... Maybe about 200 times or something...
I know my brother, friends and even SCHOOL TEACHERS!!!! Pirate software
It's not too different from games you know... calm down

I'm sick of this talk of piracy. What people need to realize is that without it, your precious system is dead in the water. Just look at the Vita.

All these studios and game devs keep up this talk of piracy there are going to stop receiving what little money they get from me now and I'll become a full-fledge pirate and won't pay a damn cent for anything. Hell, I'll even go out of my way to pay for hardware whose sole purpose is for pirating.

Lol. I get the theories but in reality, based on history, the unlocked systems do the best. Not digging it all up. Ones that died were dying anyway. Not releasing benefits pirate chip makers. I want to believe if the Linux for vWii uses 3 cores that Marcan may reveal more. If not, somebody else may get unlock for Wii U mode.

I agree 100%. I don't like these chip makers one bit. I'm just so sick of hearing all this piracy bullshit. A wide open system benefits us all. To not achieve that because of perceived piracy and the perceived damage it does is also bullshit.

You want a console to achieve it's full potential, then you have to blow that bitch wide open. Only then do you get a "scene", only then do hardware and software studios and developers reap the benefits monetary-wise and only then do we, the end-user, truly have a console that is limitless. I, for one, think linux on a console like the Wii U is an amazing idea. We haven't had a console yet that could do this properly and it would unlock many, many interesting things. Unfortunately, I think that it needs to be on the Wii U side to truly unlock the Wii U's potential (it's always best to run an OS direct on the HW versus in a virtual environment such as the vWii), but I'll leave that up to the experts.

VENOM released game #2 today
Sonic_&_All-Stars_Racing_Transformed_PAL_WiiU-VENOM
Yes, "nice" I guess. This helps nobody who wants homebrew and an unlocked system. Hopefully somebody else unlocks the entire system. Then we can do some interesting things, AND, nobody can charge $70+ dollars to pirate games anymore. Piracy happens on all systems and it is no coincidence that the unlocked systems sell better. Wii and 360 had BEAUTIFUL scenes. I have always believed in unlocked/open systems. People once hacked for FREEDOM. I don't see Marcan releasing the Wii U stuff, but I ANXIOUSLY await nand keys, CPU key, and full access with Wii U mode exploit. Get in, get control, prevent updates, and then have some fun.
