A few weeks ago, Rockstar promised that they'd be giving us not one, but three new trailers for the next installment in the popular Grand Theft Auto franchise.

Boy, did they deliver.

Michael:

Franklin:

Trevor:

These trailers get a GTA+ in my book.

The game's set to release September 17th this year, so if you haven't already saved up... well, now might be the time to start.

I have really high hopes for this game, all the other games have been A+ in my opinion and i see no reason why this wouldn't be A+ aswell!

Is it September soon?

I doubt this can hold a candle to the games taking its style and exploding it with awesome (Saints Row and by the looks of it Watch Dogs).

buut Trevor does look pretty entertaining. The problem with GTA is that it tries to rely too heavily on its story, and there's not a damn thing else to support it. This worked for Mafia II, but Mafia II had a pretty damn fun story to back it up. GTA typically has a 'meh' story. Especially in GTA4 where you spend most of the time doing mundane shit or dating your cousin.

Michael seems awesome. I have a feeling that his story will be my favourite.

If you've seen 'Hot Tub Time Machine', you'll note that Trevor is a lot like Lou. Basically, his story will be full of hilarious moments.

As for Franklin, he reminds me of San Andreas. It'll be great but I have a feeling they are just trying to re-make San Andreas with him.

Anyway, god damn disappointed that I'll have to get it on PS3 and not my PC... (Stupid Rockstar, they'll probably release it months later on PC...)

Trailers look good but I'm not getting my hopes up.

As much as GTA games are fun to play, they never fix the most important issues with the game.

What issues most trouble you with the GTA games?

Of the top of my head, the disappearance of cars when you walk away for a bit. Not sure in GTA IV but in San Andreas a car would disappear as soon as he drove past me. That was pretty rare but it's there.

Interesting, I agree that it could possibly do with a weighted algorithm that keeps your cars, ones you have commonly driven or valuable ones effectively around for longer or makes it effectively so. I mainly asked as we kind of went off topic and onto GTA in a thread I made the other day ( http://gbatemp.net/threads/analyse-a-popular-game-you-do-not-like.347155/ ) and more opinions are good.
