your order those same mine right? so you dont have problems using then?? i mean most moderators here toll me they dont suport " those chips" and because i dont have an support still cant figure out if they need or no updated,in the store they say " pre installed firmwarethey say this in their website "All chip pre installed stable firmwares, suport all consoles directly! No suggest flash to unstable 0.7.2 !",The idea is when I run out of these chips to be able to use the ones that everyone in the group uses, BUT the flex option is very comfortable for those of us who are not professionals,so today i will try to update one of this chips via toolbox,i dont have more options,pc never see then,if the chip burns or dont acept the update i totally loss

The pc does not detect them, I have tried in all possible ways, I pressed the boot button, I did not press it and nothing, the pc does not see them, if I connect one of my old hwfly using the same cable, the same mini ubs port the pc does Go right away and I can update them without problem using the bat.bin file, unless of course I'm doing something wrong but it's not NASA science, that is, the PC should recognize them but it doesn't, only when the chip is connected to the switch turn on the leds
what? no I got an instinct-nx chip

Use a New firmware 2.73 which supports the SDA/SCL wires to resolve this issue.

Edit: (According to Rehius: The second major feature is CPU downvoltage. This might be useful when your MOSFET (or the wire) is not strong enough for the glitch. (do you remember the case where you press "RESET" on the rp2040 when joycon logo appears to make it working? that's it, system lowers CPU voltage)
Therefore you can solder two additional wires to the chip so it could lower the CPU voltage making the glitch easier. This is optional! only if you really need.

Edit: My switch also has the stubborn cpu using 2 mosfet but still require to press the reset button but these two point solve this issue. If your switch don't require to press reset button you can miss these points.)

Are you using a flex cable or bare mosfets? If it's mosfets, you might be having this issue.

for my lite, i used 0.3 mm enamled wire for gnd, 3.3v and from cpu to mosfets (cuz i cant get the 0.2 one) but imo i think 0.2 mm one is good enough
cuz
right now for 3.3v and GND im using wrapping cable little bit thick, forgot how much mm this one.
but the problem, that wrapping cable too thicker
make hard to solder.
also for cleaning install

planning to change them to 0.2mm

Hello thanks, one finally worked for me, I was able to connect it to my PC and I detected it, now the question is, how do I know that when updating the chip it received the update well and did not cause damage? Here I put the info that the pc shows me when connecting the chip, now that I update it (it's just copy and paste correct) it gives me a yellow light that blinks 2 times
,this the infor i can see inside the chip

UF2 Bootloader v3.0
Model: Raspberry Pi RP2
Board-ID: RPI-RP2
why you keep asking things when you havent installed it yet ??, pretend its normal rp2040 zero follow instructions READ GUIDE everything you ask are there if not browse this thread or aio thread , just instal it and go boom, i bought it in good conscience that its a custom MADE RP2040 that nobody here would study it and hand holding for me or for you, stop worrying stupid things worst case schenario its not gonna working properly as it intended but hey you learn something...

if you dont have that mindset just buy another normal rp2040 zero, pico, one, tiny or whatever its cheap AF, cheers

Today i learning on dat0 adapter.

Here is the problematic dat0 adapter

View attachment 372617
Distance between two black lines is 1mm.

While the distance between pin in the ic is 0.5 mm according to the datasheet.
View attachment 372618

So based on the picture its definitely going to get short circuited with the neighbour pin, when put into the right place

Here is the pinout from the datasheet.
View attachment 372620

So maybe some that succeed using this DAT0 adapter they place it wrongly by shift it a little bit left (right if working on the pcb),
Because pin no2 is NC (Not Connected). While people whose place it correctly or shift a little bit to right, will got pin no4 short circuited.

This is my analysation, and i am gonna try to shift the adapter to the left pin (right shift if working on the pcb).
Update: POC (Proof of Concept)

Modify the adapter little bit.
d0adapter_mod.jpg

Shift it slightly to the right.
d0shift_right.jpg

The diode value will not be different, when Dat1 Short Circuit (SC) with Dat0.
Its around 600.

When Dat1 SC with the Dat0 picofly will throws error:
=*== eMMC test failure - read failed

I've confirmed this and the picofly working until nosd shown (by shift the adapter a little bit to right).

Ground and 3.3V is pretty easy, not worth the time to pretin that enameled wire.
