So I am on 5.0.0 U and when I go to the link with the latest version USA pack on my SD card, it tells me only 5.3.2 is supported? Is that normal? I thought 5.X was supported, just untested yet?

It's super easy to do, no prob! You may need to reboot a few times for the other exploit (the NUS) to work

Sorry I want to spoof my 5.3.2E to FW 5.5 but: is this procedure reversible? Has anyone tried to install back the 5.3.2 version file and it worked?

from what I understood, no it's not reversible. You can only install then 5.6.0 file for example but not downgrade.

Why would you want to reverse it? You need to be very careful not to cross-install as it can brick the console. This is permanent.

Yes, as long as they are formatted FAT32 and have the right folder structure everything should work.

None, unless you do something really stupid (like installing the system menu version title for the wrong region).

So the console has some kind of mechanism to prevent going to lower version.

Btw very good progress and a very big step towards the future! Now at least we can play new games without being forced to update.

yeah titles can only be updated and have version codes to identify if the version your trying to install is newer or not, pretty much the same deal with the 3DS

well im guessing maybe they plan to expand support to lower FW's, but honestly it might be a bad idea to apply the spoofer to anything lower than 5.3.2 as it may interfere if you ever need to update to 5.3.2

yeah you could do the same thing on the 3DS by updating Cver and Nver, but the 3DS wasn't so easily fooled and still knew it wasn't updated
