Their software kicks giant cyclops ass. No doubt about it. They rock at features and all that good stuff but their hardware can't be explained in words how crappy it is.

I don't have any experience in their forums myself but judging by your post and the other guy here who said got his thread deleted, they act like jerks. Although, I don't have any knowledge of the team itself so I will refrain from saying anything except my opinion.

I'm sure they are trying to eliminate errors with their cards, but sometimes issues are unavoidable (the problem comes from the thickness of the card - and there is nothing they can do to change that at the moment)

Someone from Team Cyclops should be a member here like DSX Guru and G6 Team. Don't you think? Then it will be REALLY interesting. They wouldn't have the power to delete any post they didn't like.

Actually it is pretty sad that so many forums feel the need the edit, delete, and/or other wise so many posts and threads. I guess that's why I prefer the forums that the worst thing that can happen to a thread is that it gets dumped into a thread dumping ground, but no thread is EVER edited, deleted or otherwise modified by mods...

No one is bann... well, er just before the last revolution there was someone who started playing around with banning people for very short amounts of times, and others indefinitely, but we're back to no banning again now... (Traditionally, it's also a ban free forum, the best that you can aspire to is a special tag.)

The company that ships for cyclops had their owner arrested for continuing to sell DS cards.
They have pulled all DS flash cards from their website.

They've not banned me yet, although the thread deletion concerns especially when it concerns a problem which they appear to be trying to sweep under the rug, as it were. IF they had been smart, they would've put in a post about what QA they do do, and what they're doing to reduce the number of defective units, and a new policy for handling DOAs then locked the thread.

Deletion without comment makes me queasy... esp. simce I've got a DOA...

A poll on the Team Cyclops support forums is naturally going to be very skewed, though, since the most likely reason someone would come to the support forums is for support when there's something wrong with their card.

I've also seen at least two people on those forums say that they sent their cards into Team Cyclops for replacement when the problems they described don't sound anything like a defective kit, so I wonder how many perfectly working cards Team Cyclops is having returned.
