When people make clones they just need to get the original software working, they don't need to or care about getting the hardware working the exact same way. So it's very likely there are hacks to get the clones to work. Now with that in mind, think of how many clones have 'R4' written on them. Even though it might be based on the DSTWO.
Not that I am trying to discourage you in any way Xenon++, if you have the necessary skills to do it, and want to put in the time for your own enjoyment, then have at it. It just amazes me how many self entitled people there are on this forum sometimes. Here be dragons.

Then you would most likely have known the answer already or at least you would have known that there are many variants of the R4 SDHC card and you need to be much more specific in your question.kiwib0i said:

I just found something out. The .nds file from this download is the only reason why it works on clones. The _rpg folder is the same as the one used from the official download.

You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60
