Looking for firmware for my R4

Hello there
Uh... A friend of mine gave me his R4 to put some firmware on them, but I think I'm doing something bad-

According to him, the one on the left is an original Revolution 4, and on the right is a clone
I tried using ysmenu (for R4-Clone, R4 SDHC and R4i SDHC) and none of them worked, just a black "Loading..." screen
I also tried using the original R4 firmware found here (the one r4ds.com) and still getting the same error
Even I tried using a different microSD, but nothing happened (I have a 2GB microSD and a 16GB)

Can someone help me?

Close is not close enough. if the original website says .com, .com has the only working firmware.
the r4 grey one looks genuine, not a clone, i don't know if there is any firmware for it.

Yep, the original R4 doesn't need firmware (it uses hard ROM and is therefore much superior to the chinesium cheapass flashcards - such as the other - that spontaneously brick due to firmware corruption), just a kernel like Wood https://gbatemp.net/download/wood-r4.32256/ , of course on a SDSC card

UPDATE: sorry... I use the wood from the link you gave me and even twlighit menu, but isn't working :c still Loading... screen
I'm starting to think maybe both R4 are messing

Have you seen this thread? Not only do you need the firmware, but you also need a way to load that firmware. The thread I linked will have more info for you. Follow the instruction for the Original R4, the grey one that you have. That card will be better than the white one. Also, FYI, the original R4 card can only support up to 2GB sd card. The sd card should be formatted to FAT.
