Hacking Will Updating my Wii U break my hacked vWii? [Hello New Friends!]

I have been a frequent lurker of this forums for a while but I made an accout to ask a question!

Will Updating my Wii U break my hacked vWii?
I want to download pikmin/Donkey kong Tropical Freeze in the sale, I am not 100% interested in hacking the Wii U but I would hate to lose my vWii hacked capabilities.

Whenever a new update comes out check GBAtemp after few days (to be safe) for a update broke my vWii thread.

It very well can, and there doesn't have to be a thread saying anything about it. I learned my lesson, it happened to me before Mario Kart 8 came out. It broke my vWii hack, then I tried restoring it from instructions here and ended up bricking my wii u for not paying attention and using wii isos insead of wii u. Luckily i had it swapped out for a new one, this was the Zelda edition wii u. The stickies did not help nor did the forum. They did however help me to hack the vwii. I refrained from redoing the hack and just decided to keep my Wii ad will wait for the real hacks to come out for wiiU.

I don't think Nintendo keep working on new Wii IOS, they have no time to waste on Wii side of the Wii U.

It does clearly state in the guides not to use Wii IOS's, and what will happen if you do!

No, I have a NTSC (US) Wii U and have hacked vWii and applied the new Wii U update ....everything still works as it should.

What broke your vWii hack? What you meant to say is that you broke your vWii. I've had mine hacked since day one and it's not broken.
