Hacking WIINJA NOT WORKING ON SOME VERSION WII?

Just heard in a chat room on IRC that the wiinja will not work on V2 of the wii, only V1?

is this true? Ive never hard any of this, but if so im gonna be pissed!!

How can you tell which version wii you have?
